Who benefited from Telethon donations?
Beneficiary counts differ between reports and should be read with their dates and wording. Seven West Media said in October 2022 that A$71.4 million had been raised for 97 organisations and children’s charities. In March 2023, The West Australian described 107 organisations, charities and good causes as set to benefit. The available reports do not explain the difference, so neither figure should be substituted for the other.
