Who became SheerID’s chief revenue officer?
SheerID, a Portland, Oregon-based identity verification company, named Rebecca Grimes chief revenue officer, according to GeekWire’s September 13, 2024 report. It said Grimes had been chief sales and marketing officer at Searchspring and chief revenue officer at Ruby. Her earlier experience also included Cheetah Digital, PowerReviews, and Vibes.
GeekWire described SheerID as a service that helps consumer brands verify eligibility for special offers aimed at groups such as students, teachers, and military members. The report named Amazon, Google, Home Depot, Spotify, T-Mobile, and Walmart as companies using SheerID products. It said the company was founded in 2011 and had raised $93 million as of the report; that funding figure is not a current total. Investors named included Voyager Capital, Fortson VC, Brighton Park Capital, CVC Growth Partners, and Centana Growth Partners.
Why was Sana Biotechnology’s CFO stepping down?
Sana Biotechnology CFO and executive vice president Nathan Hardy was reported to be stepping down effective October 4, 2024. GeekWire said Sana attributed his resignation to personal reasons in a regulatory filing. Hardy joined Sana in 2018 after earlier roles at Juno Therapeutics and Amgen. The report does not establish his subsequent role or Sana’s later leadership arrangements.
