TD SYNNEX CEO: “We Are Seeing Broad-Based Strength in SMB and MSPs”

Patrick Zammit’s Q3 FY2025 comments describe SMB and MSP growth relative to TD SYNNEX’s company average—not a market-wide rate or exact percentage.

TD SYNNEX CEO Patrick Zammit said the company’s fiscal third quarter of 2025 saw SMB and MSP customers grow substantially faster than TD SYNNEX’s company average in most of its geographies. The statement is a company-reported comparison—not a quantified growth rate or a measure of the entire SMB or MSP market.

What Zammit said about SMB and MSP demand

In a report published September 26, 2025, CRN quoted Zammit describing “broad-based strength in SMB and MSPs, which grew substantially above the company average in most of our geographies.” The headline’s wording is “We Are Seeing”; the quoted sentence in the report says “We are experiencing.” Read CRN’s report.

“SMB” refers to small and midsize businesses, while MSPs are managed service providers. Zammit’s comparison is to TD SYNNEX’s own company average. CRN’s report does not give an exact SMB or MSP growth percentage, and “most” does not mean every geography.

What the statement covers—and what it does not

The remarks concern TD SYNNEX’s fiscal Q3 2025 performance. CRN also reported that the company grew across product lines and geographies, and highlighted momentum in Latin America and Asia-Pacific/Japan. Those details describe company-reported results; they do not establish what caused the SMB and MSP performance or independently measure demand across the wider market.

The statement therefore supports a limited conclusion: TD SYNNEX said SMB and MSP segments outgrew its company average in most of its geographies during that quarter. It does not establish a market-wide growth rate, a specific rate for either segment, or outperformance in every geography.

Keep the Q2 figures separate

Some figures from the prior quarter can sound like a direct measure of the Q3 claim, but they refer to different periods. TD SYNNEX management said on its June 24, 2025, Q2 FY2025 earnings call that SMB, MSP and public-sector segments each grew at double-digit rates. The company also reported 20% growth in software billings, fueled by cloud, cybersecurity and infrastructure software. Those are Q2 figures—not quantified results for the Q3 SMB and MSP comparison. How to read the claim

  • Period: TD SYNNEX fiscal Q3 2025, discussed in CRN’s September 26, 2025, report.
  • Attribution: The assessment is Zammit’s and reflects TD SYNNEX’s reported performance.
  • Comparison: “Substantially above” refers to TD SYNNEX’s company average; no percentage is supplied for the Q3 SMB or MSP result.
  • Geography: The comparison applied in most—not necessarily all—of the company’s geographies.
  • Market scope: The report is company-performance coverage, not an independent survey of SMBs or MSPs generally.

A later republication of TD SYNNEX’s Q3 FY2026 earnings-call transcript includes broader company commentary about results across geographies, technologies, customers and programs. It does not provide a directly comparable update to the FY2025 Q3 SMB and MSP comparison, so it cannot establish that the earlier segment growth continued. Read the later transcript republication.
