TD’s notice said customers and employees could not access account information in person, online, or by phone. When did TD Bank services come back?
At approximately 9:45 a.m. EST, BleepingComputer reported that online banking systems had been restored. In an update at 11:12 a.m. EST, the outlet quoted TD saying it had identified and resolved the technical issue, and apologizing for the disruption. These times describe the report’s timeline; they do not establish how quickly every individual service or transaction was restored.

Access returning did not immediately mean every account showed the latest activity. BleepingComputer reported that some deposits made the previous day or during the outage were not yet visible or credited, and TD was processing them.

Why was TD online banking not working?
TD described the cause as an “unforeseen technical issue” but did not disclose a specific technical explanation. BleepingComputer reported that TD separately confirmed the outage was not caused by a security issue. The available account does not establish whether a particular system, vendor, or infrastructure failure was responsible.
Is TD Bank down now?
This historical report cannot answer whether TD is experiencing a problem today. TD’s U.S. online-banking information page describes services such as mobile deposits, transfers, bill pay, alerts, and account access; it is not a live service-status notice. For a current login or account-access problem, check TD’s own support channels for current guidance rather than treating the 2021 recovery report as a live status update.
