Short answer: T-Mobile’s offer is real, but it is not a $10,000 cash payment. Qualifying new business customers adding at least 10 new voice lines to Business Unlimited Edge may receive up to $1,000 per line in monthly bill credits. The maximum value is spread over 24 or 36 months, depends on eligibility, and can be lost if qualifying service ends early.
Business Unlimited Edge launched in 2024. T-Mobile’s business pages still display a substantially similar promotion, but describe it as limited-time and subject to change. Confirm the exact terms in writing before moving 10 lines.

Why this T-Mobile offer is easy to misunderstand
T-Mobile announced Business Unlimited Edge on April 24, 2024, with the plan expected to launch on May 2. The original promotion offered new business customers adding at least 10 qualifying voice lines a choice between account credits or credits toward eligible smartphones.

The current promotion may differ from the original launch terms, so the current eligibility language—not a 2024 headline—should control your decision.

T-Mobile’s current business pages, viewed as of August 18, 2026, display Business Unlimited Edge at $45 per line per month for six or more lines, before taxes and fees. They also display an offer for new business accounts adding at least 10 Business Unlimited Edge voice lines to receive up to $1,000 per line in credits.
What Business Unlimited Edge includes
The original announcement positioned Edge as a premium business wireless plan. Its stated features included:
- $45 per line per month with at least six lines.
- Unlimited mobile hotspot data, including 200GB of high-speed hotspot data.
- 15GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico.
- 5G access.
- Business travel benefits, including in-flight Wi-Fi and other perks.
- Microsoft 365 and other business-oriented benefits, subject to plan terms.
The current displayed price means six lines cost $270 per month before taxes and fees, while 10 lines cost $450 per month before taxes and fees. The price is not a guaranteed permanent rate, and included benefits can change. Review the current plan details before ordering.
T-Mobile also lists lower-priced business tiers, including Business Unlimited Select, Advanced and Ultimate. Edge’s larger hotspot and travel allowances may not justify its higher price for a business with modest data needs.
How the advertised $10,000 works
The headline maximum is a collection of bill credits—not unrestricted cash. The original offer described two alternatives:

| Option | How it works | Maximum timing | Approximate value per line |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account credits | Up to $1,000 credited to the business account | 36 monthly credits | $27.78 per month |
| Eligible smartphone credits | Up to $1,000 toward an eligible new smartphone | 24 monthly credits | $41.67 per month |
With 10 qualifying lines, the nominal maximum is $10,000. The account-credit option would generally represent about $277.80 per month across 10 lines for 36 months. The device-credit option would represent up to about $416.70 per month across 10 devices for 24 months, assuming each device qualifies for the full $1,000 credit.
Neither option is equivalent to receiving $10,000 in cash. The device alternative is tied to an eligible phone, financing arrangement and qualifying service. You may still owe taxes on the device’s pre-credit price, along with any amount not covered by the promotion.

Who can qualify for the maximum?
According to T-Mobile’s currently displayed promotion terms, the $10,000 maximum requires all of the following:
- A new T-Mobile business customer or business account.
- At least 10 new voice lines.
- Those lines on Business Unlimited Edge.
- Continued active service and good standing.
- Approval under T-Mobile’s business-account and credit requirements.
This is not a general rebate for every small business. A company with one, three, five or nine lines should not assume it can claim a proportional version of the $10,000 offer. Existing T-Mobile business customers should also not assume that adding lines qualifies, because the displayed offer is described for new accounts.
A personal T-Mobile customer is not automatically a qualifying business customer. T-Mobile may also distinguish between new numbers, ported numbers and lines canceled recently. The current terms indicate that lines canceled within the preceding 90 days may affect eligibility or require reactivation. Ask for a written determination before placing the order.

What 10 lines actually cost
At the currently displayed $45-per-line rate, the base service math looks like this:
| Calculation | Amount |
|---|---|
| 10 lines per month | $450 before taxes and fees |
| 10 lines over 36 months | $16,200 before taxes and fees |
| Maximum account credits | Up to $10,000 over 36 months |
| Potential device connection charges | $350 for 10 lines at $35 per line |
The $10,000 does not make 10 lines free. Even if the business receives the full account-credit amount, it still pays monthly service charges, taxes, regulatory fees, device costs, connection charges and any add-ons. A $35 device connection charge per line is shown in the current displayed terms, although the exact charge can depend on the transaction.
The more useful calculation is your total cost over 24 or 36 months:
- Plan charges and taxes.
- Device payments and any amount not covered by credits.
- Connection charges.
- Insurance and other add-ons.
- Device payoff costs with your current carrier.
- Credits that would disappear if you leave early.
- The cost of a cheaper T-Mobile tier or another carrier.
What happens if you cancel or reduce lines?
The promotion assumes that qualifying service continues. Current and original terms indicate that remaining account credits can end if the account or qualifying lines are canceled before the credit period is complete.
Device credits can also stop if the promotional device or account is handled in a way that violates the financing or promotional requirements. Paying off a promotional device early may end its remaining bill credits. Removing qualifying lines or changing the plan may reduce or terminate credits.

Credits may take multiple billing cycles to appear, so do not assume the first bill will show the expected discount. Keep the order confirmation, promotion code, device-financing documents and every bill until all credits have posted.
Important eligibility and cost traps
- Credit approval: Business-account approval and device-financing approval may be separate decisions.
- Device eligibility: The smartphone option applies only to eligible devices and may not cover every model.
- Port-ins: Confirm whether each ported number qualifies and whether recently canceled numbers are excluded.
- Promotion stacking: The offer may not combine with every other discount, device promotion or autopay incentive.
- Taxes and fees: The displayed $45 rate excludes taxes and fees.
- Line reductions: A departing employee could affect the credits tied to the account or line.
- Ownership changes: Ask what happens to credits if the business is sold, transferred or reorganized.
- Coverage: Check service at offices, warehouses, job sites and frequent travel destinations rather than relying only on national marketing claims.
Who should consider the offer?
Business Unlimited Edge may be worth investigating if your company:
- Genuinely needs at least 10 new business voice lines.
- Expects to keep those lines for the full 36-month account-credit period.
- Uses substantial hotspot data in the field.
- Travels frequently in Canada or Mexico.
- Needs new smartphones and can use the device-credit alternative.
- Has verified strong T-Mobile coverage where employees work and travel.
- Values bundled business benefits such as Microsoft 365 or in-flight Wi-Fi.
The promotion is potentially more valuable when the business already expects to purchase new phones and can use the credits without changing its staffing plans. It is less compelling when the company is adding lines solely to reach a rebate threshold.

Consider other options if your business:
- Has fewer than 10 lines.
- Expects headcount or line count to shrink.
- Wants an upfront rebate rather than deferred bill credits.
- May switch carriers within one or two years.
- Does not need expensive new smartphones or extensive hotspot data.
- Already has satisfactory coverage and pricing with its current carrier.
- Would save more by choosing a cheaper T-Mobile business tier.
- Cannot tolerate complicated promotional or device-financing conditions.
The correct comparison is not “T-Mobile gives me $10,000.” It is “What will my complete 24- or 36-month cost be after all charges, credits, devices and switching expenses?”

What about the other benefits mentioned in 2024?
The April 2024 announcement also promoted a year of Amazon Business Prime Essentials for eligible customers, educational sessions and a separate small-business sweepstakes. Those were elements of the 2024 announcement, not benefits that should automatically be assumed to remain available with the current Edge offer.
Check current terms separately before assigning value to those perks. Do not include them in your cost comparison unless T-Mobile confirms that they are available to your account.
Bottom line
T-Mobile’s offer can be attractive for a stable business that truly needs 10 or more lines, wants Edge’s data and travel features, and expects to remain with T-Mobile for three years. But the advertised $10,000 is a maximum of monthly bill credits, not immediate cash, and it depends on qualifying new-account status, eligible lines, continued service and other conditions.
Before switching, compare the complete 24- and 36-month cost—including taxes, fees, devices, connection charges and lost credits—not just the promotional headline.
