HDFC Bank, Ola Electric, Avenue Supermarts (D-Mart), YES Bank and Bajaj Finance are worth tracking for different reasons, but they are not a like-for-like group. The available figures support a dated watchlist—not a current ranking or a conclusion that any share is attractively valued. Before buying, check each company’s latest filings, sector-specific operating measures and valuation using market data with a stated as-of date.

What the latest available reporting shows

The evidence below is dated to the materials identified as of October 5, 2026. A report listing confirms that a document is available; it does not establish its financial results unless those figures are actually provided.

Company and business Reporting evidence available What it does—and does not—tell you
HDFC Bank Limited — Indian bank Its official results page lists Q1 FY27 results and related July 2026 materials, including a press release, key parameters, a presentation and financial results. The period and materials are confirmed, but the figures are not available in the retrieved extract. Use the results themselves to assess growth, asset quality, capital and profitability.
Ola Electric Mobility Limited — electric mobility The company’s investor-relations overview displays Q1 FY27 revenue from operations of ₹455 crore, 39,192 deliveries, 30.5% consolidated gross margin and -42.8% consolidated adjusted operating EBITDA margin. These are company-displayed operating indicators for Q1 FY27. The negative adjusted operating EBITDA margin is not a statutory net-profit figure, and the metrics alone do not establish cash generation or investment merit.
Avenue Supermarts Limited — retailer operating the D-Mart brand An NSE-hosted filing covers unaudited consolidated results for the quarter and six months ended September 30, 2025. The available extract is not enough to assess sales growth, store expansion, margins or valuation. Consult the full filing and newer disclosures before drawing a current operating conclusion.
YES Bank Limited — Indian bank The bank’s official annual-report page lists its FY 2025–26 integrated annual report and related shareholder documents. The page listing alone does not provide figures for growth, asset quality, capital or valuation. Those require the report and more recent results where available.
Bajaj Finance Limited — consumer-finance company Its investor-relations section provides financial results, press releases, presentations, annual reports and exchange filings; the retrieved page extract does not expose FY 2025–26 result values. The availability of reporting categories is not evidence of current credit growth or asset quality. Review the underlying results and filings.

Ola Electric’s July 14, 2025 Q1 FY26 press release provides historical context: it reported 68,192 vehicles delivered and ₹828 crore in revenue from operations, and said its auto business was EBITDA-positive in June 2025. The June statement refers to a month, not the full quarter; these older figures should not be presented as current results or treated as directly comparable with the Q1 FY27 snapshot without checking consistent definitions and accounting bases.

How to assess each stock

HDFC Bank: examine lending, deposits and credit quality together

For HDFC Bank, use the Q1 FY27 results and related July 2026 materials to check loan and deposit growth, net interest margin, gross and net non-performing assets, provisions or credit costs, capital adequacy and profitability. Read these measures together: loan growth alone does not show whether funding, credit quality or returns are keeping pace. Compare like periods and definitions, and note whether a figure is quarterly, year-to-date or annual.

Ola Electric: separate deliveries from economics and execution

Track deliveries and revenue alongside gross margin, operating losses, cash burn, service execution and manufacturing capacity or utilisation. The Q1 FY27 snapshot’s adjusted operating EBITDA margin is explicitly company-adjusted; inspect the company’s definition and reconciliation in its financial materials before comparing it with another company’s EBITDA or with statutory profit. Delivery volume is an activity measure, not proof of durable margins or positive cash flow.

Avenue Supermarts: look beyond store count

For Avenue Supermarts, review revenue growth, like-for-like growth where the company defines and reports it, store count and expansion, gross margin, operating margin and cash generation. Expansion can change the mix of mature and newer stores, so consider the reporting period and the company’s definitions when interpreting growth. The NSE-hosted filing identified here covers the quarter and six months ended September 30, 2025; confirm newer company and exchange disclosures before treating it as a current operating picture.

YES Bank: test growth against asset quality and capital

Use the FY 2025–26 integrated annual report alongside the latest available results to examine deposits and loans, net interest margin, gross and net non-performing assets, provisions or credit costs, capital adequacy and profitability. A bank’s growth figures are more informative when considered alongside the quality of its loans, loss absorption and returns. The annual-report listing by itself is not enough to judge any of these measures.

Bajaj Finance: focus on credit performance as well as expansion

In Bajaj Finance’s results and filings, compare assets under management or loan growth with funding costs, delinquencies, credit losses, provisioning, capital and profitability. Fast growth is not a standalone quality signal for a lender: check whether credit losses and funding costs remain consistent with the returns reported. The investor-relations categories confirm where results and filings are presented, but the retrieved extract does not establish current FY 2025–26 figures.

How to compare the five before buying

  1. Refresh the documents. Open each issuer’s latest results, presentation and relevant exchange filings. The reporting periods identified above are not uniform, so record the period covered by every number and use newer disclosures where available.
  2. Build sector-specific comparisons. Compare HDFC Bank with banks and Bajaj Finance with consumer-finance lenders, using consistent periods and definitions. Assess Avenue Supermarts as a retailer and Ola Electric as an electric-mobility manufacturer. Do not treat the five businesses as peers simply because they are on one watchlist.
  3. Use a common market-data date. Record the date for each share price and valuation input. Share prices and market valuations move; an operating result without a matching market-data date cannot establish what investors are paying for it.
  4. Choose valuation measures suited to the business. Select and interpret valuation measures in the context of each company’s sector, earnings, balance sheet and cash generation. Do not compare bank, retail, consumer-lending and EV-manufacturing multiples as though they were interchangeable, or rely on a single ratio without checking the underlying financials.
  5. Write down the reason to keep each share on the list. For every company, identify the operating indicator that would strengthen or weaken your view and the filing or result that can confirm it. Revisit that view when new results, market prices or regulatory disclosures change the evidence.

Why this is a watchlist, not a ranking

The available materials do not provide a comparable current share-price and valuation dataset across all five companies, and most of the retrieved extracts do not contain enough current financial figures for a full cross-company assessment. Company disclosures can establish reported results, but they do not by themselves establish whether a share is attractively valued. Use this list to direct further checking, not as a buy or sell recommendation.
