The SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2026 application correction window is over. The Staff Selection Commission allowed corrections from 20 May through 21 May 2026, with the window closing at 23:00 on 21 May. The headline saying it opens tomorrow is no longer current.

When was the SSC Stenographer 2026 correction window?

SSC set the correction period for 20–21 May 2026, ending at 23:00 on 21 May. The dates and closing time are specified in the Commission’s Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2026 notice.

Who could correct an application?

The facility was for candidates whose completed applications and required fee had been received within the application period specified in the notice. Eligible candidates could correct or modify application parameters and resubmit their applications during the correction window.

How many times could candidates resubmit?

SSC allowed up to two corrected resubmissions. The notice sets correction charges that distinguish between the first and second correction, and states that no further corrections would be allowed after the permitted resubmissions. Consult the official notice for the exact charge and payment instructions; they should not be treated as a general fee or as permission to make changes outside the announced window.

Can you still change the 2026 application?

No. The May correction period has passed. SSC’s official notice board later listed a tentative answer-key notice for the 2026 examination dated 23 September 2026, confirming that the application correction window is not upcoming.

Where to check for a later SSC Stenographer cycle

If you mean a later examination cycle, do not rely on the 2026 dates. Check the SSC official website and notice board for the relevant cycle’s announcement and instructions. An expired correction window cannot be reopened by an unofficial paid service.
