A third-party coupon listing updated October 4, 2026 reports 50% off the first month of Sling Orange or Sling Blue, with a listed expiration date of January 1, 2027. The offer is not guaranteed: confirm eligibility, the discount and the renewal price on Sling’s checkout page before subscribing. It may be an automatically applied discount, not a code to enter.
Is there a Sling TV 50% off code?
TechRadar’s coupon page reports a 50% discount on the first month of Sling Orange and Sling Blue, and lists January 1, 2027 as the expiration date. The listing was updated October 4, 2026, says exclusions may apply and is not a guarantee from Sling. Check the listing, then confirm the actual offer and terms on Sling’s plan selector before paying. Sling says prices and offers can change without notice.
TechRadar says most Sling discounts are applied automatically rather than entered as a coupon code, and that almost all offers are available only to new subscribers. Check the specific offer’s terms: the listing does not establish that every customer qualifies, nor does it promise a reusable code. A separate, broader 50%-off listing has a different stated expiration date and less specific plan scope; it should not be assumed to be the same Orange-and-Blue offer.
How to check the discount and your renewal price
- Open Sling’s official plan selector and choose Orange or Blue if you are considering the reported offer.
- Review the displayed promotion and its terms before submitting payment. Make sure the first-month total reflects the offer and check any stated eligibility or exclusions.
- Note the recurring price shown for the plan after the promotional month, along with any add-ons. The price at checkout is the amount to rely on, since Sling says prices and offers may change without notice.
- Save the confirmation and billing details so you can track the next charge or cancel before renewal if you do not want to continue.
Current Sling plan prices and what changes after the offer
Sling’s official plan page lists the following starting prices. Its displayed offer details were updated April 13, 2026; the live selector may show different prices or additional costs for extras.

| Plan | Starting price listed by Sling |
|---|---|
| Essentials | $19.99 per month |
| Select | $19.99 per month |
| Essentials & Select | $34.99 per month |
| Orange | $45.99 per month |
| Blue | $49.99 per month |
| Orange & Blue | $64.99 per month |
These are listed starting prices, not a promise that your bill will match them after extras, taxes or changes to Sling’s offers. The 50% coupon listing applies to the first month of Orange or Blue, not automatically to other plans or add-ons. Compare the full amount due now with the recurring amount shown at signup.
How to choose between Orange, Blue and the lower-priced plans
There is no single best plan for every household. Compare the channels you actually watch, the local channels available at your address, simultaneous streams and the regular renewal price—not just the first-month discount. Sling’s April 9, 2026 announcement described Essentials as including ESPN and ESPN2, family channels and classic channels, and said Essentials & Select started at $34.99 per month. Treat the live selector as the source for current lineups and prices.

- Say goodbye to batteries: Keep your remote powered for months on a single charge.
- Orange or Blue: These are the plans named in the reported 50% first-month offer. Check the lineup and offer terms for the specific plan you select.
- Essentials, Select or Essentials & Select: Sling lists lower starting prices for these options, but the coupon listing does not establish that the 50% discount applies to them.
- Orange & Blue: Sling lists this combined plan at a higher starting price. Do not assume the Orange-and-Blue offer applies to the combined plan unless checkout explicitly shows it.
Local-channel availability depends on location and plan. Sling says Blue and Orange & Blue carry some local channels, while Orange does not; check availability by ZIP code. Where Sling does not carry the local stations you want, an over-the-air antenna may receive them, depending on reception at your home. Sling supports streaming devices, smart TVs, phones, computers and tablets. It lists 3 Mbps as the minimum reliable connection and recommends 25 Mbps for viewing across multiple devices.
Billing, cancellation and alternatives to a monthly plan
Sling’s terms say monthly subscriptions are billed each month until canceled. You can cancel online; access continues through the paid period, but partial or prepaid months are not refunded. Check the cancellation and renewal details in your account if you decide the service is not worth keeping.

Sling says it does not offer a free trial of its paid service. Its free Freestream service has a limited selection of channels. Sling also lists a one-day pass starting at $4.99, with three-day and seven-day passes displayed on its home page for $9.99 and $14.99. Passes are one-time subscriptions, and Sling says an activated pass is not refundable. These are alternatives to compare if you want to watch briefly without starting a recurring monthly plan.
