Sky Ecosystem’s dashboard showed $4.32 billion under “Liquidity Instant” on October 13, 2026. That is a protocol-level liquidity metric—not a promise that any USDS holder can withdraw dollars to a bank immediately. Sky documents an on-chain route from USDS to USDC; turning a token into a bank deposit requires a separate fiat provider or exchange route, whose availability and terms depend on the provider and your location.
What Sky’s “Liquidity Instant” figure does—and does not—mean
The dashboard also reported $9.4 billion “Within 1 Week” in its 2026 snapshot checked October 13, 2026. Both figures describe Sky Ecosystem dashboard liquidity categories. They are not individualized withdrawal balances, guarantees of redemption, or measures of cash waiting in a bank account for USDS holders. The dashboard values can change.

That distinction matters because a token swap and a fiat withdrawal are different transactions. The documented Sky route exchanges tokens on Ethereum. It does not, by itself, send dollars through bank rails. A holder’s ability to complete a bank cash-out depends on a separate provider’s supported countries, account eligibility, limits, fees, and settlement timing—details not established as a universal route in the sources cited here.

How the documented USDS-to-USDC route works
Sky Protocol documents a route on Ethereum through LitePSMWrapper for swapping USDS and USDC. Its LitePSM guide describes public users using buyGem to buy USDC with USDS, and sellGem to sell USDC and receive USDS. The amount available depends on current pool and usage conditions.

- Start with USDS on Ethereum. Sky documents USDS as an ERC-20 token. Confirm the token and network in the wallet or service you use before initiating a transaction.
- Swap USDS for USDC through the documented LitePSM route. A token exchange changes the asset you hold; it does not withdraw funds to a bank.
- Use a separate fiat provider or exchange route if you need bank dollars. Check that the service accepts USDC, supports your country and account, and provides a bank withdrawal method before sending tokens to it.
- Review the provider’s terms before transferring. Verify limits, fees, required account checks, settlement estimates, supported networks, and the receiving bank details. Those terms are provider-specific and may change.
Sky’s documentation says swap fees had not been activated on the USDS/USDC wrapper in the surfaced documentation, but protocol parameters may change. That does not establish unlimited capacity, guarantee a particular execution, or cover fees charged by a separate service or bank. Likewise, a stated conversion ratio or low-slippage mechanism should not be read as unlimited liquidity.
Token conversion is not fiat redemption
Sky separately documents a DAI-USDS converter that allows conversion between the two ERC-20 tokens at a 1:1 rate. The protocol says holders can convert at any time with no liquidity restrictions. That is a token-to-token conversion, not a conversion into dollars or a bank transfer.

The distinction between token liquidity and fiat access can be summarized this way:
| Question | On-chain token route | Bank cash-out |
|---|---|---|
| What changes hands? | USDS, USDC, or DAI tokens through documented protocol mechanisms. | Tokens are sold or redeemed through a separate provider, then fiat is sent over that provider’s supported bank rails. |
| What determines availability? | Protocol route, pool balances, current usage, and parameters. | Provider eligibility, supported geography, limits, fees, account requirements, bank rails, and settlement timing. |
| What does Sky’s dashboard establish? | Reported protocol/dashboard liquidity categories, including “Liquidity Instant” and “Within 1 Week.” | It does not establish a universal bank withdrawal service or an individual holder’s access to one. |
Why the other headline figures are not interchangeable
Sky.money’s USDS explainer described roughly $4.12 billion of stablecoin liquidity in the PSM at the time of writing. The page result did not provide an exact publication date. That PSM-specific figure is not the same measure as the dashboard’s later “Liquidity Instant” figure, and the two should not be treated as a contradiction or combined.

Separately, Stablecoin Development Corporation reported in its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, filed July 30, 2026, that the combined supply of USDS and DAI exceeded $10 billion as of June 30. That is a supply statistic reported by the company, not a measure of immediately available bank cash or a promise that holders can redeem that amount.

What to verify before trying to cash out
- Route and network: Confirm the service supports the exact token and network you plan to send; a token swap on Ethereum is not the bank-withdrawal leg.
- Geography and eligibility: Check whether the provider accepts customers in your country and what account verification it requires.
- Limits and costs: Review withdrawal minimums and maximums, conversion spreads, provider charges, and any bank fees.
- Timing: Distinguish the on-chain transaction from the provider’s processing and bank settlement estimates.
- Current protocol conditions: Pool balances, usage, and protocol parameters can change, so a dashboard snapshot is not a standing quote for your transaction.
