For 2026/27, the reported adult Kop season ticket price is £449 at Sheffield United and £440 for a new Sheffield Wednesday ticket. Wednesday renewals are reported at £415 for eligible supporters, so the £34 difference from United’s price compares a United adult price with a conditional Wednesday renewal—not two equivalent purchases. Stand and ticket status both affect the comparison.

How to compare the prices fairly
Separate new purchases from renewals
Wednesday’s reported £415 adult Kop renewal applies only to eligible existing supporters; the report says a season ticket in any of the five preceding seasons could qualify. The £440 price is the reported new-purchase rate. Do not use the renewal figure as the general price for a new buyer. The Wednesday report and related coverage describe the eligibility condition.
#1 Best Overall
- Inspired by the world's largest soccer matchup, the adidas FIFA World Cup 26 soccer ball pairs design with performance. A seamless TSBE surface enhances touch. The butyl bladder ensures consistent shape retention for every match or practice session.
- TSBE TECHNOLOGY: Seamless surface for better touch and lower water uptake
- KEEPS ITS SHAPE: Butyl bladder for best air retention
- REQUIRES INFLATION: Ships flat, pump not included
- FIFA QUALITY AND OFFICIALLY LICENSED: Officially licensed by FIFA, the ball passed FIFA tests on circumference, weight, rebound and water absorption
Match the stand where possible
Within the reported schedules, adult prices differ substantially by stand: United’s figures range from £449 on the Kop to £559 in the South Stand, John Street or Family Corner; Wednesday’s range from £440 on the Kop to £600 in the South Stand. These stand names and seating arrangements are not necessarily equivalent between grounds, so a same-named or similarly priced stand is not proof of an identical view or location.
Check the age rule, not just the label
Sheffield United’s 2026/27 terms define seniors as age 60 or over on 1 September 2026, young adults as under 22, and juniors as ages 2–17 on that date. Full-time students aged 22 or over must provide qualifying education documentation. See United’s 2026/27 ticket terms. Wednesday’s reported categories include under-14, under-18 and under-22 new-purchase rates, with under-25 also appearing for renewals. Because United’s junior band covers ages 2–17 while Wednesday’s price bands split children differently, their youth prices are not direct age-for-age comparisons.

What is included and how tickets are accessed
Sheffield United’s terms say a season ticket commits the holder to home league matches and describe an NFC smartphone ticket as the normal format. They say supporters without a compatible smartphone may discuss alternative access; the terms specify a £15 card charge in that context. Read the United ticket terms for the conditions. Equivalent current Wednesday access terms and a complete comparison of fees are not established by the cited information, so do not assume the clubs’ ticketing arrangements are identical.
