Compare the additional services and collections included in the live plan details against what you will actually use. Ancestry’s catalog lists Fold3 and Newspapers.com among its other products, but the cited catalog does not establish the precise inclusions for every current All Access offer. Verify those details before paying for the higher tier.
Should you choose six months or one year?
The annual offer costs more upfront but covers a longer first term. The six-month offer requires less money at purchase and gives you a shorter initial commitment. Compare the total upfront cost with how long you expect to use the membership, and factor in the price that applies when the subscription renews—not just the sale price. The offer page’s listed regular prices are $119, $179, and $269 for six months, and $229, $334, and $499 for one year, respectively; the catalog and checkout display may change.

Who qualifies for the discount?

Ancestry’s offer page says you must cancel at least two days before renewal to avoid the next charge. It directs subscribers to cancel through Account Settings or customer service. General subscription terms also say subscriptions generally renew automatically unless the applicable offer terms say otherwise; prices or available subscription options may change.
