The advertised 24% discount on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and 21% on the S26+ are not confirmed by the official offers reviewed. The verified promotions are market-specific: Samsung Korea lists a limited gift-certificate exchange voucher for qualifying S26 Ultra purchases and separate education and card discounts, while Samsung India announced a different “up to 34% off” campaign. Neither verifies the exact headline percentages. Check your country, seller, configuration and final checkout price before treating either phone as discounted.
Are the Galaxy S26 Ultra 24% off and S26+ 21% off?
Those exact figures are not established by the official Samsung pages reviewed. The title does not identify a country, retailer, configuration or discount basis, so the percentages cannot be validated as universal offers or compared as if they describe the same kind of savings.
Samsung Korea’s Galaxy Campus page lists an October benefit for qualifying purchases of an unlocked Galaxy S26 Ultra: a ₩50,000 Shinsegae gift-certificate exchange voucher for purchases during October 1–11, 2026. It also lists a 13% education discount for the S26+ and S26, plus a separate 3% Samsung Card billing discount. These distinct benefits do not substantiate a 24% Ultra discount or a 21% S26+ discount. The Korea offer is limited by eligibility and its stated period; consult Samsung Korea’s Galaxy Campus offer terms for the live conditions.
Separately, Samsung India announced a Samsung Week promotion beginning October 7, 2026, advertising up to 34% off selected Galaxy phones, including the S26 Ultra. “Up to” is a campaign ceiling for selected products, not a guaranteed reduction on every S26 Ultra, and it does not verify the 24% claim. See Samsung India’s Samsung Week announcement for its campaign conditions.

What the verified benefits do—and do not—save
Samsung Korea: voucher, education price and card discount
The ₩50,000 benefit is described as a Shinsegae gift-certificate exchange voucher, not cash deducted from the phone’s price. Its value to you depends on the voucher’s issue and exchange process and where it can be redeemed. Confirm those mechanics, along with eligibility, on the current offer terms before counting it as savings.
The Korea page’s 13% education discount applies to the S26+ and S26, while the separate 3% Samsung Card billing discount has its own payment condition. The available details do not establish that all benefits can be combined, or that their percentages should be added together. Verify the eligible product, membership and payment terms for the specific offer.

Samsung India: “up to” campaign discount
The India promotion is a separate country-specific campaign. Its advertised ceiling applies to selected Galaxy phones and is not evidence of a particular S26 Ultra checkout price. Check whether the exact model and configuration qualify, which sales channel is included, and whether the displayed reduction is direct or conditional.
How to check a phone deal before buying
- Confirm the market and seller. Make sure the offer applies in your country and at the retailer where you plan to buy. A Samsung Korea or India promotion does not establish an offer in the United States or elsewhere.
- Match the exact phone. Compare model, storage, color, unlocked or carrier version, and eligible SKU. A price or benefit for one configuration may not cover another.
- Identify the type of savings. Separate an unconditional price cut from education pricing, a payment-card discount, trade-in credit, financing or buyback terms, and a voucher. Do not combine conditional benefits into one headline percentage unless the arithmetic and eligibility are explicit.
- Check the final checkout total. Review the price after applicable discounts, plus any conditions or costs shown by the seller. For a voucher, check when it is issued and where it can be used rather than treating it as money off the phone.
- Recheck the deadline and availability. Promotions can expire or be limited by stock. Confirm the current terms immediately before purchase.
To compare the two phones’ offers fairly, put the unconditional checkout price beside any conditional savings, voucher restrictions, configuration and expiry. A larger advertised percentage alone does not show which deal costs less.

U.S. launch prices are not current deal prices
For U.S. context only, Samsung Newsroom’s 2026 launch announcement stated starting prices of $1,299.99 for the Galaxy S26 Ultra and $1,099.99 for the S26+. Samsung listed 256GB, 512GB and 1TB options for the Ultra, and 256GB and 512GB options for the S26+. These are launch figures, not verified current prices or proof of a live promotion. Samsung also gave March 11, 2026 as general availability and named Amazon Stores among preorder channels; that launch information does not confirm current Amazon stock or pricing.
