Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Black Friday Deal: What the $1,069.99 Price Meant

The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s $1,069.99 Black Friday headline aligned with about 25% off Samsung’s July 2024 U.S. MSRP for the unlocked 512GB model. It is a historical claim, not confirmed current pricing.

The advertised $1,069.99 price was a historical deal claim for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with 512GB of storage—not a verified offer available today. Compared with Samsung’s July 2024 U.S. unlocked 512GB list price of $1,419.99, it was about 24.6% off, which rounds to 25%. The original promotion’s terms and current availability have not been established.

Was the Galaxy S24 Ultra really 25% off?

The percentage is consistent with Samsung’s July 2024 U.S. MSRP for the unlocked 512GB model. The Yahoo Tech headline advertised $1,069.99 and described the discount as 25%; the Yahoo page could not be directly retrieved, so that price is evidence of the headline’s claim, not proof of a completed purchase or the promotion’s terms. Samsung’s U.S. July 2024 MSRP listing gives the relevant comparison price.

Configuration Samsung U.S. MSRP, July 2024 How it relates to the headline
Galaxy S24 Ultra, 12GB memory, 512GB storage, unlocked $1,419.99 $1,069.99 is about 24.6% below this price, or approximately 25% off.
Galaxy S24 Ultra, 12GB memory, 256GB storage, unlocked $1,299.99 The $1,069.99 headline arithmetic does not use this configuration’s MSRP.

The 512GB model is therefore the relevant configuration for interpreting the advertised discount. The calculation compares the claimed sale price with Samsung’s stated 2024 MSRP; it does not verify the seller, condition, checkout price, or whether the discount was available to every buyer.

Is the $1,069.99 deal still available?

There is no verified current listing or offer information here. Treat $1,069.99 as a historical Black Friday headline, not a live quote. Samsung announced U.S. availability through Samsung.com, carriers, and retailers beginning January 31, 2024, but that launch announcement does not establish current stock or pricing. See Samsung’s January 31, 2024 U.S. launch announcement.
