Short answer: the Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon Edition was reported at ₹39,999 for the 8GB/128GB model during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2025 sale. A qualifying additional offer was said to reduce the effective price to ₹38,999. That was not a universal checkout price, and the promotion expired in 2025.
Flipkart’s 2025 Big Billion Days promotion created unusually low pricing for an India-market Galaxy S24 variant using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor. The headline ₹38,999 figure referred to an effective price after an eligible discount, not necessarily the amount shown as the handset’s standard sale price.
The promotion ran in the past: Plus and Black members received early access on September 22, 2025, followed by the general sale from September 23 through October 2, 2025, subject to individual bank-offer terms. As of August 18, 2026, this is a historical deal rather than a live price.
What exactly was on sale?
Contemporary coverage identified a Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon Edition with 8GB of RAM. The reported Flipkart prices differed by storage:

| Configuration | Reported BBD price | Price qualification |
|---|---|---|
| 8GB RAM, 128GB storage | ₹39,999 | Reported Flipkart sale price; the ₹38,999 headline applied to this tier after an additional eligible offer. |
| 8GB RAM, 256GB storage | ₹44,999 | Separate storage tier; it should not be described as a ₹38,999 model. |
Gizmochina’s September 22, 2025 report described the 128GB version as effectively ₹38,999 after an additional discount. It is therefore more accurate to say the phone was listed at ₹39,999 and could be effectively ₹38,999 for an eligible buyer than to state that every customer paid ₹38,999. (Gizmochina)
How the different prices fit together
Deal coverage produced several calculations because the final amount depended on the payment method, account eligibility and timing:

| Price stage | Amount | What it meant |
|---|---|---|
| Historical launch/MRP reference | ₹74,999 | Reference price used in contemporary deal coverage, not a current selling price. |
| Flipkart BBD price, 128GB | ₹39,999 | Reported handset price before an extra qualifying discount. |
| Originating report’s effective price | ₹38,999 | Required an additional eligible offer. |
| Moneycontrol card calculation | ₹38,049 | ₹39,999 less a reported ₹1,950 eligible-card discount. |
| Beebom calculation | ₹37,750 | Based on a reported ₹2,249 Flipkart Axis or Flipkart SBI credit-card discount. |
The differing figures do not establish one universal price. They reflect separate campaigns or calculations. Moneycontrol reported ₹39,999 before a ₹1,950 card discount, while Beebom described a possible ₹37,750 outcome with a particular credit-card offer. (Moneycontrol; Beebom)
What discounts and restrictions mattered?
The checkout total could change according to the offer attached to a buyer’s account and payment method. Reported possibilities included Flipkart Axis Bank or Flipkart SBI credit-card discounts, ICICI Bank card promotions, no-cost EMI, exchange bonuses and membership-related access.
Rank #3
- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
- A card discount was not automatically available to every customer and the reported amounts were not identical across campaigns.
- Exchange reductions represented the value of the old phone being traded in; they were not the same as a no-exchange cash price.
- No-cost EMI could have different discount or eligibility rules from a full-payment transaction.
- ICICI’s published Flipkart terms limited offers to selected products, used net-cart-value conditions, excluded some payment routes such as UPI and internet banking, and allowed returns or cancellations to affect the benefit. (ICICI Bank)
- Some prices were initially visible only to Flipkart Plus and Black members, with wider access later in the sale window.
For any similar listing, the relevant figure is the final checkout amount after confirming the card issuer, credit or debit requirement, EMI status, minimum transaction value, exchange treatment, delivery PIN code and seller terms.

The distinguishing feature was the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset. The contemporary deal report characterized the Indian Snapdragon edition as changing the processor while retaining the broader Galaxy S24 hardware. That description should be treated as report-specific rather than proof that every component was identical in every regional model.

- 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X, QHD+ display with 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh and a peak brightness of ~2,600 nits — giving a noticeably sharper, brighter screen than the base S24.
Samsung uses different chipsets across Galaxy S24 markets and models, including Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 variants. A buyer checking a marketplace listing should confirm the exact model number and processor shown in the listing or device information instead of assuming that every Indian Galaxy S24 is Snapdragon. Samsung’s launch materials explain the regional chipset variation. (Samsung Newsroom India; Samsung investor report)
Why the deal was attractive
- The 6.2-inch form factor offered flagship specifications in a relatively compact phone.
- The Snapdragon platform provided the high-end Qualcomm performance specifically sought by buyers avoiding an Exynos variant.
- A 120Hz AMOLED display and a dedicated 3x telephoto camera were uncommon at many sub-₹40,000 prices.
- Galaxy S24 software included features such as Circle to Search and translation and photo tools introduced with Galaxy AI. (Samsung Newsroom India)
- Samsung’s service network and ecosystem could matter more than peak charging specifications for some buyers.
Trade-offs to consider
- The 4,000mAh battery is modest compared with many larger 2026 phones.
- 25W wired charging is considerably slower than the charging offered by several competing brands.
- The 128GB base model has limited capacity for large game libraries and media, and the cited specification does not list microSD expansion.
- The Galaxy S24 launched in 2024, so it was no longer a current-generation flagship by August 2026.
- Seller warranty wording, stock, colour, regional model details and replacement terms could vary on the marketplace.
- The lowest effective prices required a specific payment method or other eligibility condition.
How to verify a similar listing
- Confirm that the listing says Galaxy S24 Snapdragon Edition and record its exact model number.
- Check whether it is the 8GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB version.
- Verify the processor in the listing or phone information; do not rely on the generic Galaxy S24 name.
- Separate the handset price from bank discount, exchange value, cashback and EMI savings.
- Read the selected card’s minimum spend, eligible transaction type, exclusions and offer end date.
- Check seller identity, Samsung brand-warranty language, return or replacement rules and delivery to your PIN code.
- Review the final payment screen before treating the displayed effective price as real.
Was it worth buying?
At a genuine no-exchange price close to ₹39,999, the Snapdragon S24 was a strong 2025 compact-flagship deal for buyers who valued Samsung’s cameras, software and support and accepted 128GB storage and 25W charging. It was less compelling for buyers prioritising maximum battery life, very fast charging, more storage, gaming-focused cooling or a newer 2026 platform.
The promotion itself should not be used as a current buying quote. Anyone shopping now should compare the final price on Samsung’s official store and current Flipkart listings, verify the model and warranty, and treat any “₹38,999” reference as historical unless the same amount is shown at checkout under current terms.
