The RRB NTPC Graduate CEN 06/2025 application window is closed. Applications were accepted from 21 October 2025 to 20 November 2025, so there is no open registration or apply link for this cycle. What candidates who applied need now is the application status check and the exam-stage notices on the official Railway Recruitment Board portal. The headline figure of 5,810 posts is not confirmed by the official text available for this article.

Why the registration link no longer works

The notification is the Railway Recruitment Board Centralised Employment Notice CEN 06/2025 for Graduate posts in the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), published by RRB Chandigarh and labelled “CEN-06/2025 (NTPC-GRADUATE)”. The application link period listed on the official page was 21 October 2025 to 20 November 2025. Any page that still says registration “begins” for this cycle is out of date. Later notices on the same page show that the recruitment has moved well past the registration stage.

If you are searching for a way to apply, the only portal you need for this cycle is the official one, rrbapply.gov.in, and it is used for checking your status rather than for new applications. Avoid third-party pages that present a live apply link for CEN 06/2025, because the window has closed.

Official timeline for CEN 06/2025

The dates below are the ones listed on the official RRB Chandigarh CEN 06/2025 page and the application-status notice. They are arranged in the order the events occurred.

Stage Date or period What it covers
Application window 21 October 2025 to 20 November 2025 Online application period for CEN 06/2025 as listed on the official page
Application-status notice 20 January 2026 Notice that candidates can check whether their application was accepted, conditionally accepted or rejected
Tentative CBT-1 dates 13 February 2026 Tentative dates for the first-stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) as listed on the official page
CBT-1 city intimation and e-call letter 8 March 2026 Information on exam city intimation and e-call letters as listed on the official page
Question paper, response and key, objection tracker 6 April 2026 to 12 April 2026 Access to question papers, candidate responses, answer keys and the objection tracker as listed on the official page

Because these dates are taken from a page that may be updated, confirm each one against the live official page before relying on it for planning.

How to check your application status

The official application-status notice dated 20 January 2026 directs candidates to log in at rrbapply.gov.in. Use the same login you created when you applied.

  1. Open rrbapply.gov.in in a browser on a desktop or laptop.
  2. Log in with your registered credentials.
  3. Find the application for CEN 06/2025 (NTPC Graduate) in your candidate account.
  4. Read the status shown against the application and note the reason if one is given.
  5. Keep a screenshot or printout of the status page, and check the official RRB notices for any later updates.

What the status categories mean

The status notice lists three possible outcomes:

  • Provisionally accepted: your application passed the initial check, but this is not a final confirmation.
  • Conditionally accepted with conditions: your application is accepted subject to the conditions stated against it, so review those conditions carefully.
  • Rejected (along with reasons for rejection): the portal shows the reasons for rejection, which you should read before taking any action.

The notice also states that candidature is provisional. In its own words: “Candidatures of all the eligible/accepted candidates is purely provisional and their candidature is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment process or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency/falsified record or data furnished by them in their application or any malpractice on the part of candidates coming to the notice of RRB at any stage of the recruitment process.” This is an official notice from the Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Boards, dated 20 January 2026.

What is and is not confirmed about the 5,810 posts

The “5,810 posts” figure in the headline is not confirmed by the official text available for this article. The official page and status notice do not state a vacancy total or a post-wise split in the material reviewed. Those details would normally be set out in the detailed CEN 06/2025 notification and its vacancy annexure, which should be checked directly on the official RRB websites.

The same caution applies to eligibility rules, age limits, fee and refund conditions, pay levels and selection details. None of these are verified here, so take them from the detailed CEN notification rather than from summaries. Figures from earlier NTPC Graduate cycles, such as CEN 05/2024, belong to a different notification and should not be carried over to CEN 06/2025.

What to do next

If you applied, check your status on rrbapply.gov.in and keep track of the official RRB notices for CBT-1 and later stages. If you did not apply, the application window for this cycle has ended, and you will need to watch the official RRB websites for future Centralised Employment Notices.

Official RRB websites are the only reliable source for notices, dates and vacancy details. Treat any copied apply link or any page that promises a current NTPC Graduate registration with caution.
