The “November” in the earlier RRB Group D schedule headline means November 2025, not an upcoming exam date. The original tentative CBT window was later revised to 27 November 2025–16 January 2026. By 1 July 2026, an official RRB listing showed the CBT result and candidates shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), so the recruitment had moved beyond the CBT schedule stage.
What the RRB Group D schedule said—and what changed
The notices concern CEN 08/2024 Level 1 recruitment. The first schedule was tentative; a later notice replaced its CBT dates.
| Date | Issuing RRB | Notice and status | Stage and dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 September 2025 | RRB Chandigarh | Initial tentative schedule | CBT listed from 17 November 2025 to the end of December 2025. Official CEN 08/2024 notice index. |
| 18 November 2025 | RRB Chandigarh | Revised schedule | CBT window changed to 27 November 2025–16 January 2026. Official revised schedule PDF. |
| 1 July 2026 | RRB Bhubaneswar | Result-stage listing | CBT result and candidates shortlisted for PET were listed. This regional entry is not a complete all-RRB PET calendar. RRB Bhubaneswar CEN notice listing. |
What candidates should check now
The reviewed notices do not establish one current PET schedule for every RRB. Check the notice page of the RRB responsible for your application for regional results, PET details, and any subsequent instructions. RRBs advise candidates to use official RRB websites for recruitment updates; RRB Kolkata’s CEN 08/2024 notice index is one example of a regional notice page.
How exam city and e-call-letter updates work
Schedule notices cover exam city and date information and explain e-call-letter timing in relation to each candidate’s exam date. Follow the specific notice and instructions from your recruiting RRB rather than assuming a fixed release date applies to all candidates or to later stages such as PET.
