The Reserve Bank of India’s Officer Grade B (DR) General Phase-I admit card was reported released on August 29, 2024, with access available through September 8, 2024—the reported exam date. That download period has ended, so the old 2024 link should not be treated as a current call-letter route. For current recruitment notices and call letters, use RBI’s official opportunities site.
What happened with the RBI Grade B 2024 General admit card?
Hindustan Times reported that RBI released the Phase-I admit card for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) General, Panel Year 2024, on August 29, 2024. The report gave September 8, 2024, as both the end of the download window and the General-cadre Phase-I examination date. The original RBI General-cadre release notice was not recovered, so these General-cadre details are based on that contemporaneous report, not a verified RBI release page. Read the Hindustan Times report.
Because the window ended in 2024, the available sources do not establish that the old download endpoint still works. Do not rely on a third-party “direct link” as an active route.
Why do some 2024 notices give September 14 as the exam date?
RBI’s official notice dated September 6, 2024, concerned the DEPR and DSIM cadres, not General. It listed the admit card, information handout and candidate guidance, and set the DEPR/DSIM Phase-I examination for September 14, 2024. That date should not be confused with the reported September 8 General-cadre exam date. See RBI’s DEPR/DSIM notice.

Where to check current RBI call letters
For a current recruitment cycle, go to opportunities.rbi.org.in and use the recruitment or call-letter information posted there. RBI’s call-letter archive says recruitment details, call letters, interview schedules and results are published on its official site, and warns candidates to verify recruitment communications because fraudulent messages may use misleading domains. Open RBI’s official call-letter and recruitment archive.
Use the official RBI domain as the authority. A news article or search result may help identify a notice, but it is not proof that a historical download link remains available.

What to check on an active call letter
If you have a valid call letter for another cycle, follow the instructions printed on that document. Confirm the exam date, venue, session and any candidate guidance before travelling. RBI’s 2024 Phase-II result notice said candidates needed separate admit cards for the morning and afternoon shifts, with the shift timing and venue shown on the respective cards. See RBI’s 2024 Phase-II notice.
