What was the age limit?
Scroll reported an age range of 20 to 40 years as of 1 January 2025, with relaxations for reserved categories. The category-specific rules and any applicable exceptions should be checked in the official advertisement; the reported range alone is not enough to determine an individual candidate’s eligibility.
What were the application dates and fees?
Applications were accepted online from 22 July through 20 August 2024. That deadline has passed, so this recruitment should not be described as currently accepting applications.

Scroll reported an application fee of Rs 600 for General/Unreserved candidates and Rs 400 for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other reserved categories. These amounts are reported figures, not a substitute for the fee categories and rules in the original notice.

RPSC’s portal listed later-stage items for the 2024 examinations: a Geologist detailed-application-form notice dated 2 July 2025, an Assistant Mining Engineer provisional result and eligibility-checking notice dated 31 July 2025, and a Geologist corrigendum dated 6 August 2025. These listings show that the process advanced beyond the application period, but do not establish the final appointment status of every post.
