Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF Ltd, also called RCFL) accepted applications for its 2024–25 Graduate, Technician and Trade Apprentice training from 10 December through 5:00 p.m. on 24 December 2024. The notice does not establish that this intake has reopened. The details below describe the historical recruitment, not a current opportunity.
What the 2024 RCFL notice offered
RCF advertised 378 apprentice training positions at Trombay, Mumbai, and Thal in Raigad district. The notice described the post counts as indicative and subject to change without prior notice.

These categories were not interchangeable: each training area had its own educational and subject requirements, duration and available location. Applicants had to select either Trombay or Thal in the application; the notice said that choice could not be changed and that posting was non-transferable. See the RCF recruitment page for recruitment material published by the company, but later campaign information is not evidence that the 2024 apprentice intake reopened.
Eligibility rules in the 2024 notice
The notice set broad eligibility rules, but candidates also had to meet the specific qualification and subject requirements for their chosen training area. It required qualifications from a recognized university or institute, obtained through regular full-time study, and stated that the qualifying examination must have been passed on or after 1 January 2022.

- Age: At least 18 years old as of 1 December 2024. The general upper age limit was 25, with stated relaxations for specified reserved and other categories.
- Study and experience: Candidates pursuing higher studies were excluded. The notice also excluded people who had completed Act Apprenticeship training or had at least one year of job experience.
- Role-specific qualifications: Education and subject requirements differed by training area. The corresponding category table and applicable reservation terms in the official notice determine whether a candidate qualified.
The notice does not support treating a single degree or diploma as sufficient for every apprentice category. The official advertisement is the controlling source for the individual post requirements.
How selection worked
RCF said it would prepare a merit list based on marks in the prescribed qualifying education, applying the relevant reservation provisions, and then conduct document verification. The notice does not describe a written recruitment test. Appointment depended on successful verification and approval of the apprenticeship contract on the relevant portal.
The notice expressly stated that apprenticeship training would not create a right to regular employment with RCF. It also said trainees would not be entitled to benefits, facilities or allowances beyond the consolidated stipend, subject to the specific facilities it listed.
Stipend and listed facilities
The 2024 advertisement listed the following monthly stipend amounts for the categories it specified. The figures are stipends for training, not salary guarantees.

RCF listed outpatient medical facilities at its hospital for trainees and said it would provide uniforms and personal protective equipment. It did not provide transportation assistance. The notice described the stipend as consolidated and stated: “The Apprentice Trainees shall not be entitled to any other benefits / facilities / allowances apart from the consolidated stipend.”
Application routes and documents named in the closed notice
The application period ended on 24 December 2024. The following routes and document instructions explain what the historical notice required; they are not an invitation to submit an application now.
- Trade Apprenticeship applications were directed to the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- Technician/Diploma and Graduate/Degree apprentice applications were directed to the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme portal at nats.education.gov.in.
- The notice also directed candidates to RCF’s recruitment section. It instructed them to select a posting area, upload a photograph and signature in the specified formats and sizes, and print the generated application for use if shortlisted. It does not establish that the old form remains available.
The listed documents included a personal Aadhaar-linked and seeded bank account, PAN and Aadhaar, proof of age, educational certificates and mark sheets, and a medical fitness certificate in the prescribed format. Candidates applying under applicable reservation categories were to provide the relevant SC/ST, OBC (NCL) or EWS certificate. The notice advised keeping the application email address and mobile number functional and bringing original documents with attested photocopies at reporting.

No current application window for this 2024 intake is established here. The deadline passed in December 2024, and RCF’s recruitment page displays later campaign material, which is a separate recruitment cycle—not proof that the old apprentice application has reopened or that a result has been issued. A contemporaneous Scroll report dated 24 December 2024 also reported the closing date and total vacancies; the official RCF advertisement controls if summaries differ.
