The Rolex Watchmaking Training Center in Dallas is scheduled to accept applications for its next cohort from October 15 through December 15, 2026. As of October 7, applications have not opened. The program is an 18-month, full-time, tuition-free course focused on servicing Rolex watches; it provides course tools and materials and pays students a monthly stipend, but does not provide housing.
When can you apply?
The 2026 application window runs from October 15 through December 15, according to the center’s application page. The center’s About Us page also lists those dates. Applications are not yet open as of October 7, 2026.
There is no application fee. Apply through the center’s online application and consult its FAQ for the current instructions.
What does the program provide, and what will it cost?
The course lasts 18 months and is full time. Tuition is free, and the center says it provides the tools and learning materials required to complete the course. Students also receive a monthly stipend to help offset living costs. The official pages do not disclose the stipend amount, so applicants should not plan around an assumed figure.

Housing is not provided. The administration may assist students with a housing search, but that is not the same as arranging or paying for accommodation.
How the stipend is treated for tax purposes
The center says the stipend is not wages, that it is not the student’s employer, and that it does not withhold income tax. It also says stipends count as income for U.S. federal income-tax purposes; recipients are responsible for calculating and paying applicable tax through their annual federal filings. Individual tax situations vary, so consult a qualified tax professional about your circumstances.

Who is eligible?
- No prior watchmaking knowledge or experience is required, according to the center’s FAQ.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- Applicants must be able to commit to the full-time program.
- The center does not currently accept international students on F, J, or M visas.
What does the application and selection process involve?
The center describes a multistage process. Applicants submit an online application with academic transcripts and an essay, then complete a virtual interview and an online mechanical aptitude test. Candidates selected for final testing and interviews travel to Dallas for the in-person stage. The center does not publish an acceptance rate or applicant count.
What will students study and what is the schedule?
The training focuses on after-sales service, not watch design or manufacturing. The curriculum covers micromechanics, watch repair, customer service, and practical work repairing and servicing Rolex watches. The center says classes meet Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and a new cohort begins annually in September. The final exam is administered in Geneva, Switzerland.

What happens after graduation?
The center says successful graduates have opportunities in the Rolex Service Network, primarily with Official Rolex Jewelers around the country, and that its team actively assists with job placement. Those statements describe opportunities and assistance, not a guaranteed position or employment by Rolex headquarters.
