Which tokens were called “magical” for 2024?
The pair was Retik Finance (RETIK) and Solana (SOL). But “tipped” should not be read as evidence of expert consensus: the available sources do not identify a named forecaster and role making a comparative return call, nor establish a reliable basis for saying these tokens would deliver exceptional returns in 2024.
That distinction matters for a personal-finance decision. A promotional label is not a forecast, and a project roadmap or exchange announcement does not show that a token is a sound investment. The claims that can be checked here concern RETIK’s stated identity, a historical trading announcement, vesting terms, roadmap targets, and a security-assessment snapshot—not future or comparative performance.
Is RETIK a Solana token?
No. Retik Finance identifies RETIK as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum mainnet. Its website gives the contract address 0x26EbB8213fb8D66156F1Af8908d43f7e3e367C1d and states a total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. Etherscan lists that same address as an ERC-20 token with 18 decimals and a maximum total supply of one billion.
A token name or ticker by itself does not prove identity. When checking a token, confirm both its network and contract address against a reliable source; a similarly named asset or ticker on another network may not be the same token. RETIK’s stated Ethereum identity is separate from SOL, which is Solana’s token.
What did Retik say about its 2024 launch and presale vesting?

MEXC announced that RETIK trading was scheduled to begin on May 21, 2024, at 12:00 UTC. This is a historical scheduled listing time; it does not establish present availability, trading conditions, or the status of any account or token claim.
Presale vesting schedule
In a guide published in May 2024, Retik described presale vesting as a one-week cliff after the token generation event, followed by 5% of the presale allocation each week for 20 weeks, beginning May 29, 2024. Those are the project’s stated terms. They do not establish an individual holder’s current claim status or confirm that a particular wallet received tokens.
What products and milestones did Retik put on its roadmap?
Retik’s whitepaper listed the targets below. They should be read as project plans, not as independent confirmation that a product launched or is currently usable. The cited materials do not independently verify completion or present-day availability of these services.

A target date is not delivery evidence. In particular, the roadmap’s later 2026 targets do not by themselves demonstrate that cards, merchant services, or Retik Pay are operating. Establishing current availability would require direct, dated product evidence.
What does the security information establish?
CertiK’s project assessment page, accessed in 2026, reported six acknowledged findings, including two major findings, zero resolved findings, and a team that was not verified by CertiK. These are time-sensitive page details, not a complete security audit of every component or a verdict that the project is safe or unsafe. The page’s assessment fields may change.
Verification labels also have limits. Solana’s official token guide cautions that verification is not an endorsement and does not guarantee a token’s value, safety, or legitimacy. A verification or assessment indicator should not be treated as a substitute for checking the token, custody arrangements, and the specific risks involved.

Not as a substantiated investment conclusion. The evidence summarized here does not provide a comparative return analysis, a named attributable forecast, or a source-backed reason to expect RETIK or SOL to outperform in 2024. It also does not provide current, comparable data on their price, liquidity, adoption, or returns. Without those facts, a “which is better?” or performance verdict would go beyond what is established.
