Rebecca Vallance celebrated the opening of her Claremont Quarter boutique on Monday, 24 June 2024. It was the label’s first boutique in Western Australia—not its first store overall: Broadsheet described Claremont as the brand’s seventh store.

What happened at the launch?
The store opened with a Monday-night celebration on 24 June 2024. Guests included television presenter Angela Tsun and fashion stylist Juvelle Behrendorff; the event featured champagne and canapés. Rebecca Vallance, the label’s founder and creative director, flew to Perth to welcome guests and speak about her design process.
“For our customers, we know there is the demand to immerse themselves in the Rebecca Vallance world and we are delighted to be able to now introduce our Claremont boutique to the style-conscious shoppers of Perth,” Vallance said.

What did “first-ever” mean?
The opening was a first for the brand in Western Australia, not its first boutique globally. Broadsheet called the Claremont location the label’s seventh store. Claremont Quarter’s announcement described it as the brand’s first and only Western Australian boutique at the time. The centre listing says the label launched in Paris in 2011 and in Australia in 2012.
What was the boutique like?
In a 27 June 2024 announcement, communications agency IC&CO described the fit-out as a collaboration with Archer Design. The announced finishes included rose-coloured quartz, marble, warm timber parquetry, textured walls and silken carpets. These are details from the launch announcement, not a current assessment of the store’s interior.

What collections were available at opening?
Broadsheet’s July 2024 coverage described cross-season ranges suited to warmer Western Australian weather and year-round travel. The opening-period selection included pre-fall “Paradiso Bloom,” pre-spring “Fleurett” and Bella Rose bridalwear, alongside floral details, embellished cocktail dresses, polka-dot gowns, frills and modern suiting.
Vallance told Broadsheet that the store offered cross-season collections and that not all brand stores carried that range. This is a snapshot of the boutique at opening; it does not establish what is in stock now. For a visit or shopping decision, check the centre’s current store information and confirm collection availability with the retailer.
