What the evidence says about Quantum Bumex
ESET’s H2 2024 Threat Report, covering June through November 2024, places “Quantum Bumex” among the shifting names associated with generic financial-themed scam websites. ESET says the sites can send visitors to phishing pages and forms that harvest personal information. Its report describes the broader activity as using social ads and fake-news-style pages, then directing people through forms, follow-up calls, and pressure to pay further fees.
This is threat-intelligence reporting about scam websites and their naming patterns. It does not identify a single, verified Quantum Bumex operator, establish that every domain using the name is connected, or amount to a court judgment. The distinction matters: the evidence supports avoiding promotions using the name, but does not justify treating every similarly branded URL as a proven part of one operation.
Which Quantum Bumex domains are on a regulator warning list?
The Bank of Russia’s warning list of templated internet projects includes two Bumex-branded domains: quanta-x9-bumex-app.net and instant-bumex-app.com. That listing is a specific warning about those named domains. It does not establish the regulatory status of every other site using “Quantum Bumex,” nor does absence from this list prove that another site is safe.

Because domains and redirects can change, do not use an ad, message, or search-result link as proof that a page is official. Check the exact domain against the relevant regulator’s current records and verify the legal entity behind any financial service independently.
Why the broader scam pattern matters
ESET’s reported figures describe its telemetry for the broader HTML/Nomani threat pattern, not Quantum Bumex alone. ESET reported that detections grew by over 335% between H1 and H2 2024, and that from May through November 2024 it blocked over 8,500 domains and tens of thousands of access attempts, identifying more than 100 new URLs per day on average. These are historical security measurements—not Quantum Bumex victim counts, investment losses, or a measure of current activity.

For H2 2024, ESET reported the largest country shares of detections in Japan (11.5%), Slovakia (11%), Canada and Spain (9% each), and Czechia (7%). Those percentages describe shares of ESET detections in that period, not the prevalence of scams among people in those countries.
How to check a trading platform before sharing information
- Find the legal entity. Look for the company’s full legal name and jurisdiction, not only a brand name or a contact form. If the page does not identify a verifiable entity, do not submit personal or payment details.
- Check authorization with your own regulator. Search the regulator’s official register for the legal entity and confirm that its authorization covers the service being offered. A regulator warning for one domain is relevant to that domain; it does not settle the status of unrelated URLs.
- Verify endorsements independently. MalwareTips’ June 16, 2024 investigation reported fabricated celebrity endorsements and changing domains. A video, celebrity image, or copied news-style page is not verification: check the person’s own official channels rather than the promotional page.
- Do not rely on promises or a dashboard. Promised returns, a polished site, and an apparent account balance do not establish that a real, authorized investment service exists. Treat pressure to deposit quickly or pay additional fees as a warning sign.
- Keep sensitive access out of unsolicited links. Do not provide identity, payment, wallet, or remote-access information through a link in an unsolicited investment ad. Reach any regulator or financial firm through contact details you find independently.
If you already clicked, shared details, or paid
- If you shared banking or card information, contact your bank or payment provider using its independently verified contact information and ask what protective steps are available.
- If you shared passwords, change them from a trusted device, especially anywhere the same password was reused. Enable stronger sign-in protections where available.
- If you installed software or granted remote access, disconnect the affected device from the network and seek help from a trusted technical professional.
- Report the incident to the relevant local consumer-protection, cybercrime, or financial authority using its official contact route. Keep messages, payment records, URLs, and screenshots.
- Be wary of anyone who later promises to recover the money for an upfront fee. The available evidence does not establish a Quantum Bumex-specific recovery rate, and no recovery is guaranteed.
Bottom line on Quantum Bumex
The strongest available evidence is a direct ESET association between the Quantum Bumex name and scam-ad activity leading to phishing, alongside a Bank of Russia warning listing two specific Bumex-branded domains. That is enough reason not to trust a Quantum Bumex promotion or send money or personal information through it. It is not evidence that every similarly named website has been conclusively tied to one operator; verify any financial firm through its legal identity and your jurisdiction’s official register.
