Bottom line: Treat the Quantum AI Trading offer as high risk. Regulators in Québec, New Brunswick and Alberta say offers using the Quantum AI name are not registered in their jurisdictions, and a fact-check found that a video purporting to show Ryan Reynolds endorsing a Quantum AI-linked investment opportunity was manipulated. Do not send money or personal information unless you independently verify the exact firm and representative with your provincial regulator.
What Canadian regulators say about Quantum AI Trading
Registration is jurisdiction-specific, and the warnings below apply to the names and websites identified by each regulator. They do not prove that every site or person using “Quantum AI” has the same operator.
- Québec: The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) warning, published April 17, 2026 and updated July 24, 2026, says Quantum AI Trading is not registered with the AMF and is not authorized to solicit investors in Québec. It lists quantum-ai.ca, quantum-ai-trading.com and quantum-ai.io, and gives Quantum AI as an alternate business name. Read the AMF warning.
- New Brunswick: The Financial and Consumer Services Commission (FCNB) says Quantum Ai Trading Canada, also using the names Quantum AI and Quantum-ai, is not registered to deal or advise in securities in New Brunswick. Its warning lists quantum-ai.ca. See FCNB investor alerts.
- Alberta: The Alberta Securities Commission says Quantum AI Trading is not registered to trade in or advise on securities or derivatives in Alberta. Its page identifies quantum-ai-trading.com and quantumaitrading.net as associated websites. Check the ASC’s investor alerts.
These warnings are serious reasons not to trust an offer without independent verification. A warning about a name or domain is not, by itself, proof that every similarly named site shares one operator. Check the exact legal entity, representative and web address against your province’s official records.
Did Ryan Reynolds endorse Quantum AI?
AFP Fact Check examined Facebook ads from October 2023 that used altered footage purporting to show actor Ryan Reynolds, Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem and Pierre Poilievre endorsing an investment opportunity linked to Quantum AI. AFP found the footage manipulated and reported that the posts sent users to unrelated websites. That finding applies to the ads AFP examined; it should not be stretched to every later ad or domain. Read AFP’s fact-check.

AFP also reported this statement from Paul Badertscher, the Bank of Canada’s director of media relations: “The Bank of Canada is not encouraging Canadians to invest with any particular company, including Quantum AI.” The examined video is not evidence of a genuine endorsement. Do not treat celebrity imagery as proof that an investment is legitimate.
What the name and impersonation warning mean
In a June 29, 2023 investor alert, the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) warned that fraudsters using the Quantum AI name impersonated IIROC personnel and sought identity and financial information. The alert said they were neither registered with IIROC nor members of CIRO, and described claims to offer trading in forex, stocks, indices and commodities. Read CIRO’s alert.

Use contact details you find independently through a regulator or official firm registry. Do not rely on a phone number, link, or caller identity supplied in an unsolicited ad or message. CIRO advises: “Do not rely on unsolicited information, do your own research online, and contact the individual advisor, the firm, or the regulator directly to confirm it was them who had contacted you.”
How to check an investment offer before paying
- Identify your province’s regulator. Use the securities regulator for the province where you live, rather than assuming a registration in one province applies across Canada.
- Search the exact firm and representative. Check the legal business name, the person contacting you and the specific domain in the regulator’s registration records. Similar names are not enough.
- Verify contact details independently. Find the regulator’s or firm’s contact information through its official website or registry, then contact it directly. Do not use details sent by an unsolicited caller or advertisement.
- Check the endorsement at its source. Look for confirmation on the celebrity’s or organization’s own verified channels. A video or ad alone is not verification.
- Do not proceed if key facts cannot be checked. The legal entity and representative should be verifiable, and the offer should explain custody of funds, fees, investment risks and withdrawal terms clearly. The cited warnings do not validate any alternative provider.
If you have already shared information or sent money
Stop communicating through the unsolicited contact and do not provide more personal or financial details. Do not install remote-access software at a caller’s direction. If you have sent money or sensitive information, CIRO advises contacting your bank, local police, provincial securities commission and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

- BUILT FOR YOUR MARKET, FUTURES, STOCKS, FOREX, OPTIONS & CRYPTO: 4X is a mindset and process journal, not a strategy tool tied to one instrument. The plan, the trade log, the deep dive and the weekly review work the same whether you trade ES, EURUSD, SPY or BTC. Traders use it across all five markets every day.
- THE 2026 EDITION, REBUILT FROM TRADER FEEDBACK: Same trusted system, better in every way. An extra daily page for more room to log the session. Weekly reviews now grouped with each week's trades, so no more flipping back and forth. Crisp, darker print that's easy on the eyes after hours on a screen. A Quick-Start QR that scans straight to step-by-step instructions.
- NOT A NOTEBOOK, A COMPLETE 12-WEEK SYSTEM: Start with a one-time 9-part Trading Plan (your market, setups, risk rules and discipline checklist). Then twelve identical weeks: five Daily Logs, five Deep Dive trade pages, and a two-page Weekly Review. 189 guided pages, roughly 80 trades. Guided prompts walk you through every step. You never stare at a blank page.
- RATE YOUR EXECUTION, NOT YOUR RESULT: Your platform tracks the P&L. Nothing tracks the why. Log energy, sleep and mindset before the open; grade every trade A to F on whether you followed your plan, not on whether it won; then face the pattern every weekend with START / STOP / IMPROVE / CONTINUE. That review habit is the edge. You're 42% more likely to hit a goal you've written down.
- BUILT TO LAST, ARRIVES GIFT-READY: Vegan-leather hardcover, 100gsm bleed-resistant paper, two ribbon markers and an elastic closure band. Bound to lay flat so you're not fighting the spine while you write. 189 pages, 5.75" x 8.5", carries in a bag. Ships in a premium gift box: the gift every trader in your life actually wants.
Be wary of anyone who promises to recover your money for an upfront payment. In CIRO’s illustrative “Crypto Scheme” case, one person lost approximately $150,000 and was later targeted by a recovery scam. That is one person’s case, not an estimate of typical losses or of how often Quantum AI-related fraud occurs. Read CIRO’s case story.
