Is the ice cream the same as Publix Chantilly Cake?
No. The ice cream is a frozen pint inspired by the bakery cake, not the bakery cake in another form. Publix describes its Chantilly bakery cake separately, with details including raspberry puree, orange zest, fresh berries and Chantilly cream. Those cake details should not be read as the ice cream’s full recipe. Publix’s Chantilly feature also presents the ice cream alongside other Chantilly-inspired bakery and dessert items.
When did Publix bring it back?
Publix first announced Chantilly Cake Ice Cream on June 17, 2025, as a new limited-edition flavor in its summer lineup, sold while supplies lasted. The company listed it again among returning limited-edition half-gallon flavors on February 17, 2026, and in its limited-edition pint flavors for fall on August 14, 2026. The announcement history confirms repeat seasonal appearances, not continuous availability between them.
