PSEB’s PSTET 2021–22 result had been declared by 3 April 2022, according to a report published that day. The exam was held on 24 December 2021, and candidates were directed to pstet.pseb.ac.in to check their results. The portal now displays information for later test cycles, so it is not confirmed that the old scorecard can still be accessed.
When was the PSTET 2021–22 result declared?
The Indian Express reported on 3 April 2022 that the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) had declared the result. That publication date confirms the result was available by then; it does not establish the exact date or time PSEB released it. The report says the examination took place on 24 December 2021.
PSEB’s archive lists a Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test scheduled for December 2021, but that archive entry is not a result declaration notice. The available sources do not confirm an official historical announcement with the precise release timestamp.
How to look for the old scorecard
- Open the official PSTET portal at pstet.pseb.ac.in.
- Check whether the site offers a login or result link specifically for the 2021–22 examination. The current portal shows notices for later cycles, including a December 2024 result login and a revised-result login notice dated 28 August 2025; these are not the 2021–22 result.
- If no 2021–22 option is available, use the board’s current contact details on the portal to ask whether an archived scorecard or result record can be obtained.
The historical report directs candidates to the official site but does not establish the login fields used at the time. Do not assume a current login link or its fields will retrieve the old result.

What PSTET qualification means
PSTET is the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test. The portal explains that, under the Right to Education Act and an NCTE notification dated 23 August 2010, passing a Teacher Eligibility Test is part of the minimum qualification framework for appointment as a teacher in relevant schools for classes I to VIII. Passing PSTET is an eligibility qualification; it is not itself a recruitment offer or appointment.
