In a California lawsuit filed in July 2024, Priscilla Presley accused former business associates of financial elder abuse, fraud and misappropriating more than $1 million. She sought at least $1 million in general damages, plus punitive damages and attorney fees. Those figures and claims come from her complaint; they are not a court finding or an award.
What did Priscilla Presley accuse her former associates of?
Presley’s complaint named Brigitte Kruse, Kevin Fialko, Vahe Sislyan and Lynn Walker Wright among the defendants. It alleged that associates gained influence over her financial affairs, bank accounts, trusts and business arrangements. The complaint also alleged that contracts assigned associates 80% of income from some ventures. These are allegations attributed to Presley’s complaint, not established findings.
The complaint characterized the alleged conduct as “a meticulously planned and abhorrent scheme” to “prey on an older woman by gaining her trust, isolating her from the most important people in her life, and duping her into believing that they would take care of her — personally and financially — while their real goal was to drain her of every last penny she had.” The language was quoted from the pleading in Entertainment Tonight’s July 2024 report; it is the complaint’s description, not a judicial conclusion.
What does the $1 million figure mean?
Presley’s complaint alleged that more than $1 million had been misappropriated and requested at least $1 million in general damages, as well as punitive damages and attorney fees, according to Entertainment Tonight. The alleged amount and the damages request are related but distinct: one describes what the complaint says was taken, while the other is relief sought in court. Neither figure establishes that a court awarded Presley money.

What did Kruse and Fialko say?
Kruse and Fialko rejected Presley’s account. Their attorney described her suit as false and retaliatory, saying they had invested years of work and money rebuilding her brand, as reported by the Associated Press.
In August 2025, Kruse and Fialko filed a separate California fraud and breach-of-contract lawsuit seeking more than $50 million, according to the AP and the Los Angeles Times. That amount belongs to their claims against Presley, not to Presley’s 2024 elder-abuse case. Their allegations are disputed and are not established losses or an award.
Are the lawsuits and the jewelry case the same dispute?
No. Presley’s 2024 financial elder-abuse complaint is distinct from Kruse and Fialko’s later suit against her. A separate lawsuit by Kruse and Fialko concerning alleged concealed jewelry was dropped without prejudice in February 2026. MyNewsLA’s report said the court papers did not explain whether the parties settled or why the case was dropped. That dismissal does not establish a settlement or resolve Presley’s elder-abuse case.
