Each club set its own prices and sales rules, with costs varying by fixture, seat, age band and ticket type. Membership could provide access or priority, but it was often separate from the ticket; season tickets also did not necessarily include cup or European matches.
The examples below are historical prices and arrangements for the 2023/24 season, not offers currently available. They illustrate how clubs structured tickets, but they are not a complete 20-club price comparison.
What counted as a ticket or package?
Several different products could appear in a club’s ticketing information, and their prices are not directly interchangeable.
- Individual match ticket: admission to one specified fixture, often priced by seat location and match category.
- Season ticket: admission across a club’s home league schedule under that club’s terms. Cup and European fixtures may require separate participation or payment.
- Membership: a separate product that may provide a priority sales window or eligibility to buy. Membership does not necessarily include match admission.
- Hospitality: a premium match experience, potentially with additional services. The details and price depend on the club and package.
For any comparison, identify the club, stadium, season, ticket type and whether the amount covers a membership fee, admission, or both.

Official club examples from 2023/24
Brentford: match tickets by seat band
Brentford said general-admission prices at Gtech Community Stadium were frozen from the prior season. For 2023/24 Category A fixtures, adult match tickets were listed at £65 in Dugout, £55 in A+, £50 in A, £45 in B and £35 in Family seating. These were Category A prices, not a full-season range or a league-wide benchmark. The club said categories reflected expected supply and demand. Junior prices also varied by band: the Family junior rate was £10, while several other junior rates were £15. Brentford’s 2023/24 ticket information
Tottenham Hotspur: individual sales and member priority
Tottenham said home Premier League matches would be sold individually rather than as ticket packages. In its 2023/24 sales process, One Hotspur+ members received a 24-hour priority window before other members, and standard booking fees applied. Fixtures were assigned price categories. The announcement said premium options would be announced separately but did not give a consolidated premium price range. Tottenham’s 2023/24 ticket announcement
Newcastle United: season tickets and separate cup options
Newcastle reported a blended 3.3% increase in 2023/24 season-ticket prices. Junior prices were frozen, other categories rose 5%, and supporters with existing long-term price deals remained frozen. Domestic cup schemes and the three-match UEFA Champions League package required separate opt-in, so a season-ticket price alone did not necessarily cover those matches. The club offered full payment or monthly direct debit, mobile season tickets, and transfers to eligible registered family or friends under its rules. Newcastle’s 2023/24 season-ticket announcement

Manchester City: membership and ticket access
Manchester City described an October 2023 release of thousands of tickets across nine home league matches scheduled from January to May. City said the release gave Cityzens Matchday and Junior Members another opportunity to buy. Its Ticket Exchange allowed season-ticket members to list seats, with eligible members able to buy listed seats ahead of matches. The club page listed Matchday Membership at £35 and Junior Membership at £20; those are membership prices, not match-ticket prices. The page also described mobile ticket delivery. Liverpool: increases announced for 2023/24
A Liverpool ticketing update said most general-admission matchday tickets would rise by 2% for 2023/24, members’ match tickets by £1 per game, and season tickets by no more than £17 across the 19 home Premier League matches. This summary does not establish a full price list. Liverpool’s ticketing update

The Premier League’s fan information page describes a ticket-price study conducted with EY for 2019/20, before that season was suspended because of COVID-19. The study reported an average ticket price of £32. It also said a majority of fans paid £30 or less, more than half of tickets were sold below the full listed price through concessions or discounts, and away tickets had been capped at £30 from 2016/17. Other figures on that page for 2019/20 include 52% of fans paying between £20 and £40, 20% paying between £40 and £60, and 6% paying more than £60. Close to 65,000 junior season-ticket holders paid an average of £7 per match, while junior fans’ average cost was £9 per match when individual-match and season-ticket prices were combined. These are historical league figures and should not be used as current price estimates.
The same source reported close to 800,000 seats made available across Premier League stadiums in 2019/20 before suspension: 73.4% standard seating, 9.2% family, 6.6% away fans, 8.9% hospitality, 1.4% disability seating and 0.5% unavailable on matchdays because of segregation, broadcast requirements and other reasons.
Why a league-wide price ranking is not supported here
The club examples show different pricing structures and access conditions, but they do not provide a consistent official dataset for all 20 clubs’ adult match tickets, season tickets and hospitality packages in 2023/24. They cannot establish which club was cheapest or most expensive, or support a complete comparison of package inclusions. Treat any figure as specific to the named club, product and season unless a comparable source establishes otherwise.
