The notice says the products were shipped to Publix distribution warehouses in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina, and Dollar Tree distribution warehouses in South Carolina and Georgia. The notice describes the affected distribution footprint as two retailers in five states. This is a warehouse distribution description, not a list of every store that may have carried the products.

What is the Listeria risk?
The company’s notice says Listeria monocytogenes infection can be serious and sometimes fatal for young children, frail or elderly people, and people with weakened immune systems. It also notes risks of miscarriage and stillbirth. Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms. The notice reported no related illness reports as of May 3, 2024; that is the company’s statement at the time, not a current illness count.
