Why this is a provisional ranking
The five figures come from one estimate publisher, not comparable financial disclosures. No common audited valuation date or methodology is established. What Pink Floyd’s history adds to the figures
The band’s early lineup comprised Barrett, Waters, Mason, and Wright; Gilmour joined in 1968 as Barrett’s role ended. The reported package excluded individual songwriting rights, which remained with the individual writers.
