A Perth man in his 50s has claimed a $2.5 million Division One prize from the Saturday Lotto Superdraw held on 1 November 2025. He was one of eight Division One winners nationally, so he shared the draw’s $20 million pool rather than taking the entire prize pool. Lotterywest said his ticket was sold at The Lucky Charm in Bertram.
How much did the Perth winner receive?
The winner received a $2.5 million share of the Superdraw’s $20 million Division One pool. Lotterywest’s draw announcement recorded eight Division One winning tickets across Australia, including the ticket sold in Bertram. Lotterywest’s 1 November 2025 announcement gives the draw context; its 6 November claim announcement confirms the WA winner had come forward.
Who won and where was the ticket sold?
Lotterywest described the winner as a south-of-the-river Perth man in his 50s and did not name him. His ticket was sold at The Lucky Charm in Bertram, according to the draw announcement.
What did the winner say he would do with the money?
The winner told Lotterywest the prize would make a difference to his family. He said he hoped to upgrade the family car and pay off the mortgage. Recalling the call informing him of the win, he said: “When Lotterywest called me a few days after the Superdraw to let me know I had just become a multi-millionaire, I was speechless.”
