The published results span IT and AI services, e-commerce, D2C, global employment and regional export leadership—not just technology exporters. The award criteria put the greatest weight on growth and scale, followed by market reach and diversification.
What the 2026 awards recognized
The awards were organized by Payoneer India Commerce LLP in association with Times Internet Limited (The Economic Times). The Economic Times’ post-event coverage, published on 25 September 2026 and updated the next day, reports the winners and runners-up listed below. Certificates and trophies were presented at the New Delhi ceremony. The Economic Times’ event coverage describes an award program spanning service exporters, e-commerce brands, business enablers and regional exporters.
The breadth of the list matters: alongside software and service companies are businesses in apparel, home textiles, wellness, logistics, aerospace and steel. That mix makes the awards a snapshot of varied cross-border business models rather than a ranking limited to one export sector.

The post-event account describes five weighted evaluation dimensions. Growth and scale carried the largest share, while digital infrastructure and payments carried the smallest.
| Evaluation dimension | Published weight | What the account says was considered |
|---|---|---|
| Growth and scale | 40% | Year-over-year revenue and a two-to-three-year trajectory; billed foreign revenue for service exporters |
| Market reach and diversification | 30% | Geographies served, depth of penetration and international markets entered in the preceding two years |

| Employment and community impact | 10% | Employment and community impact |
| Digital infrastructure and payments | 5% | Digital infrastructure and payments |
The current awards microsite adds category-specific measures: for e-commerce, cross-border GMV and regional growth relative to a sector baseline; for market depth, retention, repeat rate and concentration in one market. Its currently displayed timeline differs from earlier event materials, so those dates should not be treated as a definitive historical schedule.
Rank #2
The post-event account names four jurors: Dr. Abhay Sinha, Director General of SEPC India; Dr. Sridevi Arunachalam, Founder of the Indo-UAE Economic Chamber of Commerce; Dr. Abhilasha Gaur, CEO of SSC NASSCOM; and Sarita Raichura, Director at Blume Ventures.
What did winners receive?
The award terms effective 1 March 2026 say winners received a trophy and citation at the ceremony, along with recognition on The Economic Times platform through articles, press releases and social media, and post-event media coverage. The terms explicitly state there was no monetary prize. The published terms also grant the organizers a broad license to use nominees’ submitted names, company names, logos, content and event media for award-related promotion.

What the results suggest—and what they do not prove
The categories and placements show how the program framed export excellence: growth, international market reach and diversification were central, with additional recognition for innovation, employment, digital infrastructure and payments. The winner list demonstrates the range of businesses the organizers chose to recognize; it is not, by itself, a comprehensive measure of India’s export performance or a government ranking.
The Economic Times feature gives India’s FY2026 total exports as $863 billion and services exports as $421.3 billion, above an earlier estimate of $418.3 billion. Those are figures reported by the outlet in 2026, not independently verified government statistics in the sources cited here. For comparison across years, a June 2025 launch release distributed by PRNewswire and carried by Business Standard reported FY2025 services exports of $387.6 billion and 13.6% year-over-year growth. Keep the fiscal years distinct rather than treating the figures as one undated series. The launch release carried by Business Standard also described a government ambition of $2 trillion in exports by 2030–31; that target’s current official status is not established by these event sources.
At the June 2026 launch, Payoneer India Vice President and Country Manager Gaurav Shisodia said: “India’s cross-border economy is being shaped by a much wider base of businesses today, from IT services, SaaS and digital marketing firms to e-commerce sellers, D2C brands, regional exporters and women entrepreneurs.” The category mix reflects that broad framing, while the judging weights show that scale and market access were the main stated measures.
