Payoneer does not have one universal fee for every payment in India. The cost depends on how money arrives, which currency you receive, and whether you withdraw a different-currency balance to an Indian bank account. Payoneer’s published India pricing lists a 1–4% charge for that latter withdrawal, while its account-specific fee shown before a transaction is the relevant quote to check.
How Payoneer fees in India are charged
Think of the costs as separate stages: receiving a payment, holding or receiving funds in a currency, converting and withdrawing funds, and any annual account fee. A charge at one stage does not necessarily apply to another. Payoneer’s public prices are dynamic, and the amount displayed in your account for the specific transaction should take priority over a general page example.
- Payment route: another Payoneer customer, a client paying an invoice, a receiving account, or a marketplace payout can each have different terms.
- Currency: receiving in the local currency associated with your primary location may be free; other currencies may carry a fixed or percentage charge.
- Withdrawal: converting a balance in one currency to INR for an Indian bank account can incur a separate percentage fee.
- Account activity: a conditional annual fee may apply if the account does not meet Payoneer’s receipt threshold.
Payoneer’s India pricing page says transfers from another Payoneer customer are free. Marketplace and platform payouts may be subject to fees set by the marketplace or network, so check those terms separately. Payoneer India pricing

Payments from clients
Fees for client payments vary by payment method. Payoneer’s India invoice-payment page lists these examples; they are published route prices, not a guarantee that every account’s current quote will match:

| Payment method | Published fee example | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Credit or debit card | 3.20% + USD 0.49 | Listed on Payoneer’s India invoice-payment page; check the transaction quote and eligibility. |
| ACH bank debit | 1% | Limited to the US, according to the page. |
| Local bank transfer | 0–1% | Varies by region. |
| Payment from a Payoneer account | Free | As listed on the invoice-payment page. |
Payoneer’s India invoice-payment page also notes that supported payment options can depend on eligibility. A broader client-payment page describes card, bank transfer, PayPal, and other possible routes. The payment flow and account terms determine whether the client or recipient bears a particular charge; review the fee allocation before sending an invoice or payment request. Promotional card pricing is not a universal rate
A separate Payoneer India campaign page states that, effective 1 June 2026, the card fee for settling Request a Payment in India was reduced from 3.2% + USD 0.49 to 2.9% + USD 0.49 for new and existing customers. That is a campaign-specific rate, not a blanket price for all card payments or every account. Confirm that the offer applies to the transaction and account before relying on it. Receiving-account fees depend on currency
A Payoneer receiving account provides account details to give a payer so they can send a local bank transfer in a supported currency. Payoneer says these details can function like a bank account in some respects, but they are not actual bank accounts and cannot be charged by a payer. Availability and supported currencies can vary by account.
Payoneer’s India pricing page lists receipt in the local currency of the customer’s primary location as free. Receiving in other currencies may incur a fixed fee or a 1% fee depending on the amount; the page also says some countries may be exempt and minimum fees may apply. Check the fee for your receiving currency and location rather than assuming that a free local-currency route applies to every balance. Payoneer India pricing Payoneer receiving-account information

Withdrawing a foreign-currency balance to an Indian bank
For an India-based customer withdrawing a Payoneer balance in a different currency to a local INR bank account, Payoneer publishes a fee range of 1–4% of the transaction amount. The company says the exact charge depends on region and transaction volume and can be viewed in the customer’s account. This range is not a personalized quote: use the amount and rate shown for your withdrawal before confirming. Payoneer India pricing
The withdrawal fee and the exchange rate are related but are not interchangeable concepts. Payoneer’s withdrawal help page says that, when conversion is needed, the conversion fee is included in the exchange rate shown before confirmation. In Payoneer’s words: “If the withdrawal currency is different from your balance, Payoneer will convert the funds at the applicable exchange rate, which is shown before you confirm the transaction.” Withdrawal fees vary by withdrawal type; Payoneer says transfers typically take one to three business days depending on currency, bank, and region. Those timing details are general guidance, not a guaranteed India delivery time. Payoneer withdrawal help
Check the net amount before confirming
- Open the withdrawal option in your Payoneer account and select the Indian bank account and amount.
- Review the displayed exchange rate, fee, and resulting INR amount. Payoneer says the applicable rate is shown before confirmation when conversion applies.
- Compare the quote with the amount you need to receive, then confirm only if the displayed terms work for you.
A public percentage range alone is not enough to calculate your exact proceeds: the account’s displayed quote is needed.

Payoneer’s India pricing page lists an annual account fee of USD 29.95 if the account receives less than USD 6,000 (or equivalent) in any 12 consecutive months. The page says the fee is not charged in the first year for customers on a paid annual plan. This is an account-level charge, separate from payment, receiving-account, or withdrawal fees. Automatic withdrawals: Payoneer’s India pages differ
Payoneer’s India pricing page says payments received to a Payoneer account are automatically withdrawn to an Indian bank account within 48 hours. Its India client-payment, invoice-payment, and receiving-account pages instead state within 24 hours, with some references to a local bank or EEFC account. The public pages do not explain the difference, so neither window should be treated as a universal promise. Check your account’s current withdrawal settings and transaction details. Quick Recap
How to estimate your total cost
- Identify the incoming route. Determine whether the payer will use a Payoneer account, a card or bank method through a payment request, a receiving account, or a marketplace.
- Check who pays the receipt fee. For a client payment, inspect the invoice or payment flow to see whether the payer or recipient bears the fee.
- Compare the currency received with your intended withdrawal currency. A receiving charge and a later conversion-and-withdrawal charge are different stages.
- Review the withdrawal quote. Use the displayed exchange rate, fee, and net INR amount rather than estimating from the published 1–4% range.
- Check account-level conditions. Consider whether the annual receipt threshold and any applicable plan terms affect you.
- For marketplace payouts, consult the marketplace. Its own fees may be separate from Payoneer’s charges.
