Is Paramount+ on sale for Black Friday?
The $2.99 offer was Paramount+’s reported 2025 U.S. Black Friday promotion. TechRadar said it covered both Essential and Premium for the first two months and was scheduled to end December 2, 2025. The report said it was available to new and existing subscribers and did not include a free trial. As of October 8, 2026, that Black Friday promotion has ended. A separate Paramount+ promotional page currently displays $0.99 per month for two months, followed by renewal at the then-current full price unless cancelled. The page tells existing account holders to sign in, but its visible terms do not establish a general end date or confirm that every customer qualifies. Did the 2026 U.S. price increase happen?
In its Q3 2025 investor statement, Paramount Skydance Corporation said it planned U.S. price increases early in Q1 2026. That was an announced plan, not a statement of the exact date the change took effect. The official material cited here does not provide a complete before-and-after price history. How to judge whether a promotion is worth it
- Compare the discounted period with the renewal price shown in your own checkout flow; promotional prices do not necessarily continue after the offer ends.
- Choose Essential if ad-supported access meets your needs. Consider Premium if you value Showtime, downloads, or live CBS streaming enough to pay the higher listed monthly price.
- Check whether the offer applies to your account and note its renewal date and cancellation deadline.
- Compare the monthly or annual amount actually presented to you, since annual pricing is not established in the cited plan details here.
Paramount’s U.S. subscription terms say recurring subscriptions continue at the then-current price unless cancelled or otherwise changed. The company says it gives notice of price changes and applies them at renewal rather than during the current billing period. Is the old deal still a way to save before the price hike?
No. The $2.99 Black Friday offer was scheduled to end December 2, 2025, and the planned early-Q1 2026 U.S. price increase is no longer a future event. The current U.S. monthly prices are $8.99 for Essential and $13.99 for Premium. If the $0.99 promotional page is available to you, assess its two-month discount against the renewal price and terms shown at signup rather than treating it as a universal Paramount+ deal.
