Forbes’ profile search result put Pan Shiyi’s estimated net worth at $1.1 billion as of September 11, 2026. That is a publisher’s estimate, not an audited statement of his personal finances. SOHO China’s latest cited annual report provides useful ownership context, but its disclosed share interest is not a complete calculation of Pan’s assets and liabilities.

What is Pan Shiyi’s net worth?

Forbes displayed a real-time estimate of $1.1 billion for Pan Shiyi, dated September 11, 2026. The figure comes from the Forbes profile search result; the profile page itself was inaccessible, so its detailed valuation method could not be reviewed. Treat the number as a dated estimate rather than a verified balance sheet. Forbes’ Pan Shiyi profile

How did Pan Shiyi build his wealth?

Pan Shiyi’s principal public business connection is SOHO China, the real-estate company he co-founded with Zhang Xin in 1995. In its 2024 annual report, published in 2025, the company describes itself as a major prime-office developer with more than 5 million square meters of projects in Beijing and Shanghai. These are company-reported facts, not a breakdown of Pan’s personal wealth. SOHO China investor relations

SOHO China’s company biography also says Pan has been involved in real estate since the 1980s and describes his online presence, environmental advocacy and education philanthropy. Those characterizations are company-published biographical material, rather than independent assessments. SOHO China management biography

What does SOHO China’s share disclosure show?

SOHO China’s 2024 annual report records Pan as having a deemed interest in 3,324,100,000 shares, approximately 63.9309%, as of December 31, 2024. The filing associates the interest with shares held through a structure involving his spouse and a discretionary trust. It also lists Pan as an executive director, with a service contract beginning January 1, 2024. SOHO China 2024 annual report and investor information

A deemed interest reported under company disclosure rules should not be read as cash owned outright by Pan or as his personal net worth. It does not consolidate all of his assets, debts, or other interests into an individual financial statement. Nor can the disclosed share count alone establish a current personal valuation.

Why do net-worth figures differ?

Net-worth estimates can refer to different dates and different people. The Forbes figure above is a dated estimate for Pan individually. A separate Forbes report put Pan Shiyi and Zhang Xin’s combined wealth at $3.8 billion in 2021; that historical couple-level figure is not a current estimate of Pan’s individual net worth and should not be compared as if it were the same measure. Forbes’ 2021 report

For a fair comparison, check the publisher, valuation date, currency, whether the subject is an individual or a couple, and whether the number is an estimate or a disclosed corporate interest. SOHO China’s report covers the year ended December 31, 2024; the listed company’s share value can change, while the report does not supply a complete personal balance sheet.
