On February 16, 2026, a report put Pakistan’s petrol price at Rs 258.17 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) at Rs 275.70 per litre. Those reported rates followed increases of Rs 5 and Rs 7.32 per litre, respectively, and were stated to apply immediately through the end of February 2026. They are historical figures, not current October 2026 prices.
Pakistan fuel prices reported on February 16, 2026
TechJuice reported the following previous and revised rates for the February 16 adjustment:

These figures are as reported by TechJuice on February 16, 2026. The report attributed the revision to international-market movement and said the Petroleum Division issued a notification following recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). The official notification itself is not available in the cited material, so those procedural details are attributed to TechJuice.
Why the February 1 diesel revision is a separate change
February had an earlier, diesel-only adjustment. Business Recorder’s diesel-price topic page lists a February 1, 2026 report that said diesel rose by Rs 11.30 per litre while petrol was unchanged. That is distinct from the paired petrol-and-HSD revision reported on February 16; the February 16 figures should not be confused with the earlier diesel change. What the reported increases could mean for household costs
TechJuice describes petrol as being used mainly by private vehicles, rickshaws and two-wheelers, and HSD as a fuel for trucks, buses, trains, tractors, tube-wells and threshers. That gives the two price changes different potential routes into household expenses: petrol affects the cost of private travel, while diesel can contribute to transport and agricultural operating costs.
The report does not quantify resulting changes in fares, food prices, inflation or household budgets. A per-litre fuel increase alone does not establish how much any specific transport charge or consumer price changed.
