What changed when MyLearn expanded to NetSuite?
On March 15, 2023, CIO reported that Oracle was extending its MyLearn learning portal, previously offered for Oracle products through Oracle University, to NetSuite. The new NetSuite area included courses in product fundamentals and implementation. The report said the material could help organizations with implementation, employee training and exploring product features for new use cases; it did not provide measured evidence of those outcomes. CIO’s launch report describes that 2023 offer, not necessarily today’s catalog or terms.
What does the NetSuite MyLearn portal offer now?
The NetSuite MyLearn home page currently points learners to “NetSuite Onboarding,” “Start Your NetSuite Next Journey,” “Live Events” and “Explore Free Content.” Its visible materials include “How do I…” task guides and collections for areas such as financials, administration, business intelligence, warehouse management, customer relationship management and development. Oracle may change the catalog over time.
The page invites learners to sign in or create an Oracle account and offers preference and collection personalization. These interface labels describe ways to navigate the portal; they do not mean every course or event is available to every visitor without a pass.

Is NetSuite MyLearn free?
Some content is presented as free, but access is not universally free. CIO’s March 2023 launch coverage distinguished free courses from more detailed content, live webinars and hands-on training available through a paid NetSuite LCS Company Pass. It described that launch-era pass as including personalized role-based paths, on-demand modules, interactive live webinar training and practice environments. The article also listed English, Japanese, French, German, Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish for the launch offer. Those are historical details: the available sources do not establish current pass pricing or confirm that the same content and language selection remain available.
For a purchase decision, check Oracle’s current offer and the applicable order form and service description. Oracle’s NSGBU Training Service Descriptions (v031824) say access is for authorized users and that the pass and its term determine what is included. Oracle also prohibits sharing credentials and says violations can result in pass revocation. Customer and partner pass variants exist, so seats, advising, course access and demo availability should not be assumed to be identical.
How does training fit into NetSuite Education Services?
MyLearn is part of a wider education offer, rather than simply a standalone course directory. Oracle’s NetSuite Training Resources describes LCS as an online learning resource with on-demand methods, education plans and tailored enablement options. The broader services also include expert-led training, adoption support and certification opportunities. Oracle characterizes the Company Pass catalog as covering product areas, practices and business processes.
Oracle’s LCS description also refers to eLearning, labs and webinars. Training demo accounts are included when they are part of a course curriculum and may be requested under applicable pass terms; they are not a blanket entitlement for every learner or course.

How should an individual or team choose a learning route?
Start with the skill the learner needs, then compare the available content and access terms rather than assuming a paid pass is necessary or that a free item covers the full learning goal.
- For basic orientation: Start with onboarding and relevant free content, then identify any remaining product or role-specific gaps.
- For structured self-study: Look for on-demand modules and role-based paths. Confirm whether the exact materials are included in the learner’s pass.
- For questions or practice: Check whether live events or hands-on course components are offered for the topic and whether the pass includes them. Demo access depends on the course and applicable terms.
- For a team: Verify authorized-user and seat terms, the access period and which pass variant applies before planning training for multiple employees.
- For certification preparation: Use the specific preparation path for the credential rather than treating one path’s requirements as universal.
For example, Oracle’s BI and Saved Searches Professional preparation path includes eLearning, practice material and an exam, and specifies a completion threshold to access certification. That requirement is specific to this path; it should not be generalized to every NetSuite certification.

What should you verify before relying on a course or pass?
- Whether the content is free or requires sign-in or a paid pass.
- Whether the relevant course, live event or practice environment is included for the learner’s pass and access term.
- How many users are authorized and whether the customer or partner pass terms apply.
- Whether the learning path matches the learner’s role or certification objective.
Oracle’s current portal is the place to inspect visible learning options; contract documents and the applicable order form govern pass access. Catalog labels alone do not establish an entitlement.
