What the OnePlus 15 pre-order promotion included
OnePlus’ U.S. launch offer let eligible buyers select one gift with a phone pre-order. The options and approximate launch-period values reported by Phandroid were:

The gift menu and remaining stock could vary during checkout. Contemporary launch coverage described the gifts as limited-stock; the Watch 3’s reported sellout is a reminder that the most valuable option was not guaranteed. When pre-orders opened and what the phone cost
U.S. pre-orders opened Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. ET on OnePlus’ online store. Contemporary reports said regular sales would begin December 11, with deliveries expected around December 22–23 depending on stock and configuration. Those dates describe the 2025 launch, not a current pre-order window. Android Authority also reported that the Watch 3 gift was limited to the 512GB configuration.

These prices are from OnePlus’ North American launch release, which cautioned that pricing and availability could change. One secondary report gave the 512GB model’s price as $1,099; the official launch release lists $999.99, so that is the better reference for the original U.S. launch price.
Which gift offered the best value?
By listed retail value, the Watch 3 was the clear leader at about $300. But the higher-capacity phone cost $100 more at official launch than the 256GB model, and the watch was available only with that configuration. That does not mean the watch erased the price difference: it was a bundled product, not cash, and its value depended on whether you wanted one and would otherwise buy it.
- Watch 3: The strongest nominal value if you wanted a smartwatch and selected the eligible 512GB phone.
- Buds Pro 3: A potentially more practical choice if you needed wireless earbuds; compare with their actual selling price rather than assuming the launch value was a cash saving.
- AIRVOOC charger: A reasonable fit if fast wireless charging mattered to you. OnePlus listed 50W wireless charging for the phone, while the U.S. launch release specified up to 80W wired charging.
- Case: The lowest listed value, but potentially the most useful gift if you would have bought a case anyway.
Retail value is not the same as money saved. A bundled accessory may be worth less to you than its list price, and resale proceeds can be lower when many buyers receive the same item in a promotion.
Other launch incentives were separate from the gift
Launch coverage also reported a guaranteed $100 trade-in credit for any phone regardless of condition, a separate $100 cashback bonus subject to promotion terms, and possible accessory-bundle discounts of up to 30%. These were distinct promotional mechanics, not part of the accessory’s value; their eligibility, redemption and return conditions could differ. OnePlus also advertised a three-month Google AI Pro trial with 2TB of storage. The stated post-trial subscription price was $19.99 per month unless canceled, and the offer ended August 1, 2026. It should not be counted as a current benefit. The original terms are at Google One’s offer page.
What the OnePlus 15 offers beyond the promotion
The launch deal was attached to a flagship phone whose U.S. specifications include a 6.78-inch display with up to a 165Hz gaming refresh rate, a 7,300mAh battery, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform. OnePlus listed OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16, 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging in the U.S., and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.
The rear camera system has three 50MP cameras, including a periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. OnePlus’ launch material lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K durability ratings. Is the offer still available?
As of August 16–18, 2026, the original pre-order promotion should be treated as expired. OnePlus’ U.S. page presents the phone as available to buy rather than on pre-order, and the Google AI Pro trial tied to launch ended August 1, 2026. That does not establish whether a different promotion might appear later: check the live product page and the final checkout summary for any current gift or discount before placing an order.
The U.S. offer should not be generalized to Canada, the U.K. or Europe, where prices, charging specifications and gift menus differed. For example, the Irish terms describe a separate regional promotion, not evidence of U.S. eligibility: OnePlus Ireland’s gift terms.
