Amazon’s U.S. October 2025 sale was Prime Big Deal Days, scheduled for October 7–8 and reserved for Prime members. A Tom’s Guide deal update last revised September 16 listed an Amazon Fire TV Stick HD for $24 as an early deal. That was a historical offer, not a verified current price or indication of current stock.
When was October Prime Day 2025?
Amazon scheduled its U.S. Prime Big Deal Days sale for October 7–8, 2025, describing it as a Prime-member-exclusive event. Amazon also said early deals were available before the event began. See Amazon’s U.S. announcement for the dates and event details.
The October sale was separate from Amazon’s summer Prime Day, which ran July 8–11, 2025, according to Amazon’s July event announcement.
What was the $24 early deal?
Tom’s Guide’s live-deal article, last updated September 16, 2025, listed the Amazon Fire TV Stick HD at $24 among early deals. That price is a dated report of an offer ahead of the sale—not a current quote, a guarantee that the offer continued during the event, or confirmation that the item is still available. The Tom’s Guide deal coverage is the source for the model and reported price.

Because the October 2025 event has passed, check Amazon’s live listing before relying on any price or availability. The historical report does not establish the current price, stock, or whether a later listing is the same model.
Were the dates the same in Canada?
No. Amazon Canada announced Prime Big Deal Days for October 7–10, 2025—four days, rather than the U.S. October 7–8 schedule. The marketplace matters when checking event dates, eligibility, and offers. See Amazon Canada’s announcement.

How to assess an old deal report
A headline price alone is not enough to tell whether an offer is useful now. For any listing you are considering, verify the exact product, marketplace, current total price, stock, and any membership requirement. Treat the $24 Fire TV Stick HD price as an archived early-deal mention, not as a live bargain or a benchmark for savings.
Timing also matters when comparing October sale coverage: on October 6, Axios reported competing early holiday sales from retailers including Walmart and Target. Those promotions could differ in dates, market, and eligibility, so compare each retailer’s actual offer rather than assuming that “early holiday deals” share the same terms. Axios’s October 6 report covers those competing sales.
