Portanto, o cartão é uma oferta histórica, não uma opção disponível atualmente no Brasil.
O que a N26 anunciou no Brasil
No anúncio de 8 de setembro de 2022, a N26 apresentou um cartão físico transparente Mastercard Gold com funções de crédito e débito. A reportagem da Época Negócios e a cobertura da TI Bahia trataram o produto como adaptação local do cartão transparente europeu da empresa.
O anúncio dizia que o cartão seria entregue aos primeiros clientes brasileiros. Isso se referia ao produto que a empresa dizia que operaria no país, e não às fases anteriores de lista de espera e teste beta.
O que o visual transparente significava
A versão brasileira foi anunciada sem tarja magnética. A N26 associou essa escolha ao desenho transparente e à intenção de oferecer mais segurança; essa era uma alegação da empresa, não uma garantia independente de que o cartão fosse mais seguro.

O papel da “fincare” e da adaptação local
A N26 usou “fincare” para descrever seu posicionamento de combinar serviços financeiros com apoio à relação das pessoas com o dinheiro. Eduardo Del Guerra Prota, CEO da N26 no Brasil, explicou à Época Negócios: “A gente está trazendo a alma do que é o N26, mas traduzindo isso para o que está acontecendo agora no Brasil, para como é o nosso jeito de ser e para como são os nossos costumes”.

Em novembro de 2023, a N26 comunicou que encerraria sua operação brasileira como parte de uma estratégia de concentração nos mercados europeus. A cobertura da InfoMoney informou que o aplicativo funcionaria até 7 de dezembro de 2023 e que clientes foram orientados a pagar faturas em aberto e retirar o saldo.
