What the NCET 2024 notice covered
The National Testing Agency (NTA) notice dated 30 July 2024 made the provisional answer key, question paper and recorded responses available for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024. The exam had been held on 10 July 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. IST. Read NTA’s provisional-key notice.

The cutoffs were separate: submitting a challenge after 11:00 p.m. was not allowed, even though fee payment remained open until 11:50 p.m. The fee was ₹200 per question challenged and was non-refundable. NTA said challenges had to be submitted online through its official NCET website; submissions without payment or through another medium would not be entertained.
How NTA reviewed challenges
Subject experts reviewed the challenges. If experts found a challenge correct, NTA would revise the key and apply the correction to all candidates who attempted the affected question—not only the person who raised it. NTA said the key finalized by experts would be final and that individual candidates would not be informed whether their own challenge had been accepted.

Final answer key and result dates
NTA published final keys for all listed mediums on 7 August 2024, stating that they would be used to prepare candidates’ results and scores. See the final-key notice.
NTA announced the NCET 2024 results on 9 August 2024. Candidates could download their score cards using their application number and date of birth. See the result notice.

In its result announcement, NTA reported 202 challenges and 105 unique counts against the provisional keys; it said the final keys were prepared after subject-expert feedback. The 105 figure is a count of unique counts, not a statement that 105 objections were accepted. Read NTA’s announcement.
