Nourish and Feed’s Ascot café opened on 12 August 2024, bringing a drive-through and dine-in option to Great Eastern Highway. Co-founded by former Australian rugby player Dane Haylett-Petty, the business said the venue was designed to make convenient food fit its founders’ health and sustainability goals. The Ascot venue opened on Monday, 12 August 2024, according to SoPerth’s opening report. PerthNow published its report on 13 August, before the planned unveiling, so the later report provides the confirmed opening date. PerthNow described the Ascot café as the fifth Nourish and Feed location in Perth at that time.

SoPerth reported that meals were made from scratch in an Osborne Park kitchen and delivered to stores each morning. Chef George Cooper and head chef Chelsea Taylor were named in connection with the menu. These are details reported around the 2024 opening, not a guarantee of what is served today.
How could customers order at opening?
SoPerth described the venue as both a drive-through and dine-in café. Its August 2024 report also said customers could order through app pickup and Uber Eats delivery. These channels reflect what was reported at opening; availability may have changed.
Who founded Nourish and Feed, and what was the idea?
Nourish and Feed’s official origin story says Dane and Sarah Haylett-Petty established the business in 2015 after finding it difficult to get nutritious food conveniently. The Ascot opening coverage identifies Dane as a co-founder and frames the venue around quick access to food the business describes as healthy.
The business also connected its food and sourcing choices to environmental aims. In PerthNow’s opening report, Dane said the company sought to reduce its carbon footprint and waste, recycle and “do our bit for the environment.” The report also quoted him describing local suppliers, sustainable packaging and waste initiatives. Those statements express the founders’ goals; the coverage did not provide independent nutritional assessments or measured environmental results.

What was distinctive about the Ascot venue?
SoPerth credited Perth design studio Best & Co. with the interior, describing a green palette and warm timber tones. The opening coverage also mentioned custom bench seating and a play area for toddlers, presenting the space as a place for families as well as takeaway customers.

Later coverage is time-specific. PerthNow reported on 16 April 2025 that the Karrinyup kiosk had closed and named Duncraig, Kingsley, Bayswater and Ascot as the brand’s four Perth drive-throughs at that point. A secondary aggregator later reproduced a post marking the Ascot venue’s second anniversary, but that does not establish current hours, menu, ordering options or the full store roster. Check Nourish and Feed’s current channels before travelling.
