Who won the $1 million prize?
Lotterywest’s 21 November 2025 follow-up identified the claimant as a Northampton woman. She bought a System 7 ticket from Northampton Newsagency. The release quoted her saying, “This year is going to be the first time in a long time where almost our entire family will be together on Christmas Day.”
Lotterywest spokesperson Jake Battrick said she was the 16th Division One Millionaire Medley winner in WA that year. That is a game-specific count reported at the time, not a current or final annual total.

Owner Amanda Fraser told Lotterywest that this was the outlet’s third Division One prize in five years. “We’re such a small town and it’s so exciting for us to have so many wins,” she said.
That history is local context, not evidence that a ticket bought at this shop—or a System 7 ticket—has better odds of winning. The available reporting provides no probability comparison between retailers or ticket types.
