Yes. The Morley Millionaire Medley ticket that was unclaimed when Lotterywest first announced the win was later claimed by a woman in her 70s from Perth’s northern suburbs. The $1 million-winning System 7 ticket was bought at Crimea Newsagency and won in the draw on Friday, 24 October 2025.

Has the Morley $1 million Lotto prize been claimed?

Yes. Lotterywest’s 5 November 2025 follow-up said the winner had claimed the Division One prize. It described her as a woman in her 70s from Perth’s northern suburbs but did not give her name.

The prize was initially reported as unclaimed on 27 October. The ticket was not registered to a Lotterywest membership, so Lotterywest said it had no way to contact the winner at that time. That status applied to the first announcement; it was superseded by the later account.

What is known about the winning ticket?

  • Game and prize: Millionaire Medley Division One, worth $1 million.
  • Draw date: Friday, 24 October 2025.
  • Entry type: System 7.
  • Retailer: Crimea Newsagency in Morley.
  • Winner: A woman in her 70s from Perth’s northern suburbs; Lotterywest did not identify her by name.

The examined reports do not state the draw number or winning numbers, so neither can be confirmed here.

What Lotterywest and the newsagency said at the time

While the ticket was still unclaimed, Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender advised anyone who had bought a Millionaire Medley ticket from the Morley shop to “hold on tight to it and check those numbers.” That was advice in the 27 October announcement, not a current alert: Lotterywest later reported that the winner had claimed the prize.

Crimea Newsagency worker Leena Patel said the shop had been busy on the Friday, with new and regular customers, and staff did not know who had won. Her comment reflected the situation when the initial report was published.

Lotterywest’s reported 2025 prize tally

In its 27 October 2025 announcement, Lotterywest said 69 players had shared more than $161 million in Division One prizes during 2025 as of that date. This is a dated tally, not a current annual total.

Lotterywest also says available profit from Lotto ticket sales supports the Western Australian community through its grants program.
