Noogata announced a $12 million seed round on March 16, 2021, led by Team8 with participation from Skylake Capital. The Tel Aviv-based startup said it would use the funding to develop its no-code enterprise analytics platform, expand the organization and reach more industries and customers. The announcement was an early financing milestone, not the company’s latest publicly reported round: Noogata announced a $16 million Series A in April 2022.

What Noogata raised and who invested

The $12 million was seed financing, announced March 16, 2021. Team8 led the round, and Skylake Capital participated. Noogata said the proceeds would support product development, organizational growth, go-to-market expansion, entry into additional industries, and service for existing and prospective customers. The announcement did not state the company’s valuation, round dilution, or how the proceeds were divided among those priorities. Noogata’s announcement and contemporaneous VentureBeat coverage reported the financing.

What Noogata’s platform was designed to do

Founded in 2019 by Assaf Egozi and Oren Raboy, Noogata described its product as a no-code enterprise AI and analytics platform. Its stated workflow was to bring together enterprise and third-party data, enrich and model it with modular, prebuilt analytics components, and produce insights, predictions, and recommendations for business decisions. Contemporary reporting described these reusable components as “AI blocks.” The platform was headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, at the time of the announcement.

The blocks were intended to let business and data teams apply selected analytics workflows without building every use case from scratch. Reported examples included e-commerce pricing and product assortment, sales and marketing analysis, and operational optimization. Integrations could connect to enterprise data environments and services such as data warehouses, Salesforce, and Stripe, according to TechCrunch’s March 2021 report.

What “no-code” did—and did not—mean

In this context, no-code referred to packaged, reusable analytics workflows, not an absence of technical or organizational work. Enterprises still need accessible, reliable source data, appropriate integrations, governance and security controls, business expertise, and validation and monitoring of model outputs. The 2021 announcements presented reduced technical overhead as Noogata’s value proposition; they did not provide independent benchmarks for deployment speed, accuracy, return on investment, or total cost of ownership. “AI blocks” also described analytics components, not generative AI or autonomous agents.

Why Noogata said enterprises needed another approach

Noogata’s pitch addressed the gap between developing bespoke analytics internally—which can require scarce data-science, data-engineering, and software-development capacity—and buying a packaged solution that may not fit a company’s particular workflows. That was the company’s and its backers’ market framing, not independent proof that Noogata was more flexible, cheaper, or more effective than either alternative.

The distinction matters when evaluating the funding story: venture financing shows that investors backed the company’s plans, not that it had achieved product-market fit or delivered measurable customer returns. The public announcements named customers and use cases but did not disclose contract values, deployment scale, user counts, quantified performance results, or renewal rates.

Customers and use cases cited around the seed announcement

At the time of the funding announcement, Noogata cited Colgate-Palmolive’s use of the platform for sales and marketing, particularly digital commerce. It also said PepsiCo used the platform at certain farming sites in Europe to analyze crop data and help optimize agricultural raw-material yields. These examples illustrate the range of applications the company was pursuing, from consumer-goods commerce to agricultural operations; they do not establish a quantified improvement in sales, margins, or crop yields. Israeli outlet Calcalist Tech also named Shufersal Online as a customer. Calcalist Tech’s coverage provides that additional local-market context.

Later in 2021, Bugatti Group selected Noogata for e-commerce and marketing analytics. That subsequent announcement also listed PepsiCo, Colgate-Palmolive, and mDesign among customers, but it is later context rather than evidence available on the original seed-announcement date. The Bugatti Group announcement did not establish contract size or measured business impact.

Markets and competitive position

Noogata’s stated focus included e-commerce, retail, and financial services, with plans to expand into additional industries. The use cases cited at the time also touched consumer goods, sales and marketing, operations, supply chains, and agriculture. Its positioning was business-application-oriented: prebuilt, domain-focused analytics intended to help teams act on data, rather than a general claim to replace every layer of an enterprise data stack.

Contemporaneous coverage mentioned companies working in adjacent parts of the analytics market, but they were not all direct substitutes. Firebolt was associated with cloud data warehousing; Dremio with data access, curation, and analytics infrastructure; and Leadspace with AI-assisted customer data and sales intelligence. Abacus.AI was a closer conceptual comparison as a no-code or low-code AI platform. Buyers comparing these types of products would need to distinguish infrastructure for storing and preparing data, business intelligence and visualization, machine-learning platforms, and packaged operational analytics. The 2021 coverage does not provide a like-for-like feature or performance comparison.

Later financing puts the seed round in context

On April 12, 2022, Noogata announced a $16 million Series A led by Eight Roads, with participation from Allon Ventures. That later round means the $12 million seed financing should not be described as the company’s last publicly reported financing or its total known capital raised. The Series A announcement is the later financing source. The available information here does not establish Noogata’s current operating status, product availability, ownership, or financing beyond that report.
