The standout Nintendo Switch Black Friday deals in 2024 were retailer-specific snapshots, not one universal price. Nintendo announced Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundles with a year of online membership, while TechRadar reported Walmart prices as low as $249 for the standard Switch bundle and $299 for the OLED bundle on November 29. Those are historical U.S. prices—not offers available in 2026.
What Nintendo announced for Black Friday 2024
Nintendo of Canada Limited’s November 12, 2024 announcement described U.S. retailer offers beginning as early as November 21. It named Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, London Drugs, Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart as participating retailers. Nintendo cautioned that start and end dates varied by retailer and that offers were available while supplies lasted. Nintendo’s November 12 announcement gives the official suggested retail prices and bundle contents; those are different from the lower sale prices reported by retailers.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundles
Nintendo listed the standard Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle at a suggested retail price of $399.99 and the Nintendo Switch OLED Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle at $449.99. Each included a digital download of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Nintendo described each bundle as saving more than $100 compared with buying the game and membership separately, while noting that actual savings could vary.
Switch Lite Hyrule Edition
Nintendo also announced a distinct Switch Lite: Hyrule Edition offer. At a suggested retail price of $274.99, it included a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Individual Membership. Nintendo stated a $48.99 saving on its comparison basis. This was a special-edition Lite offer, not another version of the Mario Kart console bundles.

What retailers reportedly charged
Retailer deal pages and contemporaneous coverage recorded prices below Nintendo’s suggested retail prices. These figures describe different retailer snapshots, so they should not be combined into a single universal offer.
| Offer | Reported price and retailer | Source and date context |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle | $249 at Walmart; $299 was the stated prior price | TechRadar’s U.S. roundup, November 29, 2024 |
| Switch OLED Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle | $299 at Walmart; $349 was the stated prior price | TechRadar’s U.S. roundup, November 29, 2024 |
| Joy-Con controllers | $59 at Walmart | TechRadar’s U.S. roundup, November 29, 2024 |
| Nintendo Switch Pro Controller | $49.99 at Best Buy | TechRadar’s U.S. roundup, November 29, 2024 |

| Switch OLED Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle | $349.99 at GameStop and Best Buy | Nintendo Life’s U.S. deal guide, updated December 2, 2024 |
TechRadar’s November 29, 2024 U.S. roundup reported the Walmart bundle prices and accessory deals. Nintendo Life’s guide, updated December 2, 2024, listed different U.S. bundle prices at GameStop and Best Buy. The difference is consistent with changing retailer offers and stock during the sale period, rather than a single fixed Black Friday price.

UK offers were separate from U.S. deals
Nintendo Life’s December 2, 2024 guide listed UK offers separately, including Switch Lite Animal Crossing bundles at £199.99 and a Switch OLED/Super Mario Bros. Wonder bundle at £309.99 through Nintendo Store. These were UK listings in pounds, with different bundles and retailer context; they should not be treated as equivalent to the U.S. Mario Kart bundles or compared directly with dollar prices.
How to judge which 2024 offer was best
For a buyer choosing among the reported U.S. examples, the OLED bundle at Walmart had the lowest reported OLED bundle price in TechRadar’s November 29 snapshot. The standard bundle at Walmart was the lower-cost entry point at $249 in that same report. Nintendo’s announced bundle contents help explain the value beyond the console itself: both Mario Kart offers included the game and a year of online membership. A lower price in a retailer report does not change Nintendo’s official suggested retail price, and a bundle headline alone does not establish the precise terms at another store.

- This pre-owned product is not Apple certified, but has been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon-qualified suppliers.
- 6.2” LCD screen.
- Three play modes: TV, tabletop, and handheld
- Local co-op, online, and local wireless multiplayer
- Detachable Joy-Con controllers
- Compare the exact console model and included game or membership, not just the word “bundle.”
- Keep the retailer, country, currency, and date attached to a quoted price.
- Check whether an offer is still in stock; Nintendo said its 2024 retailer promotions varied in timing and lasted only while supplies remained.
