Nintendo did not provide an itemized U.S. eShop price list in the available announcement, so individual digital games cannot be reliably ranked as the “best” deals. Separate physical-game and accessory offers were announced for retailers and should not be mistaken for matching eShop discounts.
When the 2025 Nintendo Switch 2 eShop holiday sale ran
Nintendo announced its Cyber Deals on November 10, 2025. The digital sale ran November 20 through December 3, ending at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Nintendo directed shoppers to Nintendo.com or the Nintendo eShop on their device. As of October 8, 2026, those dates have passed; the 2025 promotion is historical, not a current offer. Nintendo’s holiday-offers announcement and its Cyber Deals announcement document the promotion.

What “up to 50% off” meant
Nintendo advertised up to 50% off select games. “Up to” describes the maximum advertised discount, not a discount promised on every game. The official announcement available for the promotion does not give an itemized U.S. eShop catalog with each game’s sale price and regular price. That means there is not enough verified information to name the best individual digital deal or calculate title-by-title savings.
Nintendo’s November 20, 2025 Cyber Deals announcement confirms the advertised maximum and sale dates. Its Sales & Deals page is dynamic; it can show current offers, but it is not evidence that the expired 2025 prices remain available.

Physical retailer offers were separate from eShop deals
Nintendo’s November 10 announcement described physical-game promotions at select retailers, including Nintendo’s two U.S. stores, beginning November 23, 2025. The prices below were Nintendo’s suggested retail prices for those physical offers; retailers could set different prices. They are not evidence of eShop prices.
| Suggested price | Physical Nintendo Switch games named by Nintendo |
|---|---|
| $39.99 each | Princess Peach: Showtime!, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe |
| $29.99 each | Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo Switch Sports, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Splatoon 3 |
These suggested prices can help explain the holiday promotion, but they do not establish what a shopper actually paid at a particular retailer or what any game cost digitally. Nintendo’s holiday-offers announcement lists the physical titles and suggested prices.

Nintendo also said select amiibo would be $10 off MSRP at participating retailers. Beginning November 30, select retailers and Nintendo’s San Francisco and New York stores were to offer $20 off MSRP on Samsung MicroSD Express Cards. Both were limited-time 2025 offers, not current pricing or proof of present stock. The announcement does not establish a current Amazon listing or price for the cards. Nintendo’s holiday announcement provides the offer details.

Nintendo said Switch 2 can play compatible physical and digital Nintendo Switch games, while warning that some titles may be unsupported or not fully compatible. Before buying a Switch game for use on Switch 2, check Nintendo’s Switch 2 game compatibility information for that specific title rather than assuming every Switch game works the same way.

How to use this information when shopping now
The 2025 Cyber Deals are useful as a record of a past seasonal sale, not as a price list for a purchase today. For a current buying decision, check the live Nintendo Sales & Deals page and the retailer’s listing, compare the displayed price with the regular price, and verify whether the listing is for a physical game or a digital eShop version. Confirm Switch 2 compatibility for the exact title before buying a Switch game for the console.
