In the US, Black Friday 2025 did not bring an announced Nintendo Switch 2 console price cut: Nintendo listed the system at a suggested retail price of $449.99 and the Mario Kart World bundle at $499.99. Retailers also listed bundles and savings on selected games and accessories, but those were dated 2025 offers—not current deals. The clearest value question was whether you wanted the included game enough to justify the bundle’s higher total price.
What Nintendo announced for US shoppers
Nintendo of America’s Nov. 10, 2025 holiday announcement listed these US suggested retail prices and promotions. Suggested retail prices are not necessarily the price a retailer charged: Nintendo noted, “Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price. Actual price may vary.”

The physical-game promotion applied to original Nintendo Switch games; some have free updates for Switch 2, but that does not make them Switch 2 console offers. Nintendo also cautioned that some Nintendo Switch games may not be supported or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2.
Was the Mario Kart World bundle a better deal?
The bundle’s appeal was the included game, not an announced reduction in the console’s price. Nintendo Wire’s Nov. 28, 2025 Black Friday roundup, updated Nov. 29, listed the Mario Kart World bundle at $499 and reported a $30 saving compared with buying the console and game separately. That is a dated retailer-price comparison, not a guaranteed saving for every shopper: separate prices and availability can vary.

To judge the bundle for your own budget, compare the total you would pay for the console and game separately with the bundle’s actual checkout price. Then ask whether you would have bought Mario Kart World anyway. If not, paying more for a game you do not want is not a saving in practical terms. Check the seller, stock, taxes, and return terms before treating a reported comparison as your own.
Other bundles reported during Black Friday
Nintendo Wire also reported a $499 Pokémon Legends: Z-A bundle at Walmart and a $20 saving versus buying its components separately. This was a retailer listing noted in that 2025 roundup, not an official Nintendo US holiday bundle price. As with Mario Kart World, the value depended on the price of the components and whether the included game suited the buyer.

How the offers differed by region
These prices and promotions describe the US market. UK reporting should not be used to infer US prices: Nintendo Life’s Nov. 28, 2025 roundup described a small Amazon discount on the standalone system and several UK bundle configurations, while noting that it had not found US retailer discounts on Switch 2 hardware at the time. Currency, taxes, retailer participation, and stock differ by market.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 have passed, so these figures are historical reference points, not offers to buy at today. Before making a purchase, check a current retailer listing for the exact console or bundle, its live price, stock, included items, and return policy. Do not assume an old advertised saving or promotion is still available.
