The limited-time Canadian offers included a Nintendo Switch OLED bundle, discounts on selected games, and related activities. The sale windows were in March 2025 and have expired; the prices below are historical, not current offers.
What were the MAR10 Day 2025 offers in Canada?
Nintendo said the offers would be available on the Nintendo eShop and at participating retailers. Physical-game offers began as early as March 6, 2025. The prices Nintendo announced for games were suggested retail prices, so they were not a guarantee that every retailer charged the same price at every point in the offer window.

Switch OLED bundle
The Nintendo Switch OLED Model + Super Mario Bros. Wonder Bundle was listed at $449.99. It included a Nintendo Switch OLED system, a digital download of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Nintendo described the bundle as saving $89.98 compared with buying the game and membership separately, based on manufacturer’s suggested retail prices; actual savings could vary. Nintendo’s Canadian announcement has the offer details.
The membership included in the bundle was for three months, not a permanent free subscription. Nintendo’s announcement notes that a Nintendo Account and a Nintendo Switch Online membership are required for online features. It also says a free trial automatically converts to a one-month auto-renewing membership unless automatic renewal is turned off by the end of the trial; other eligibility and payment conditions apply.

Retailers and timing
Nintendo named Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, London Drugs and Costco.ca, among other retailers, as participants. Offers were to begin as early as March 6, rather than all necessarily starting on that date. MobileSyrup initially reported a March 9 start date for the game sale, then corrected its story to March 6. These were retailer offers, so the exact price and availability could differ by store.
What else was associated with the sale?
Alarmo
Nintendo also noted that its Alarmo interactive clock was available at select retailers, including Best Buy, GameStop and Walmart.ca. Nintendo describes sleep activity tracking and game-inspired soundscapes; its footnotes say motion-sensing features work only when Alarmo is not in Button Mode and that the clock does not communicate movement information to Nintendo. MobileSyrup reported that Alarmo would be available starting March 9, 2025, for $129.99. That date and price are MobileSyrup’s reporting, not the game-sale prices announced by Nintendo.

Mario Kart community challenge and My Nintendo rewards
Nintendo’s My Nintendo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Community Challenge ran from March 7 to March 17, 2025. Players aimed to complete one million combined laps. If the goal was reached, participants who completed at least one lap were eligible for 310 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Nintendo said a Nintendo Switch Online membership was needed to join the race and mentioned a 14-day free-trial code subject to terms.
Nintendo also promoted redeeming Platinum Points for My Nintendo rewards, including a new Super Mario Stadium Tote Bag, and mentioned events at select GameStop and Walmart locations. These were accompanying activities, not additional game discounts.

Separately reported LEGO promotion
MobileSyrup reported a separate LEGO Store Insider promotion offering double points on Mario LEGO sets from March 5 through March 11, 2025, and later updated its story to mention a 2,000-piece Mario Kart LEGO set. This was a LEGO Store promotion, not a Nintendo offer.

The offers were different kinds of purchases: the $449.99 bundle combined hardware, a game and three months of service; the lower game prices applied to specific titles; Alarmo was a separate clock product. The announced deal prices and reported regular prices are useful for understanding the 2025 promotion, but they do not establish current prices, stock or availability.
