The Nintendo Black Friday prices in MobileSyrup’s November 10, 2025 report have expired. The report named discounts on nine Switch games, some amiibo and Samsung microSD Express cards, but described its Switch 2 bundles as already available—not as new holiday deals. As of October 8, 2026, Best Buy Canada says its Black Friday sale returns in November, but the sources available do not confirm specific Nintendo prices or products for 2026.
What Nintendo deals were reported in Canada for Black Friday 2025?
MobileSyrup reported on November 10, 2025, that selected retailers would discount Nintendo games starting November 20. The prices below are historical Canadian promotional prices from that report, not current offers.
| Reported 2025 price | Games named in the report |
|---|---|
| $59.99 CAD | Princess Peach: Showtime!; The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom; Donkey Kong Country Returns HD; Luigi’s Mansion 3; Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe |
| $54.99 CAD | Super Mario Odyssey; Nintendo Switch Sports; Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door; Splatoon 3 |
The report also said other Nintendo eShop games would be discounted from November 20. It characterized these as likely third-party titles, but did not provide a confirmed list.
Were amiibo and Switch 2 storage cards included?
Amiibo
MobileSyrup reported discounts of up to $15 on a handful of amiibo. It did not name the figures, so the report does not establish which characters or products were included.

Samsung microSD Express cards
The report said some stores would discount Samsung microSD Express cards by up to $25 starting November 30, 2025. Nintendo says Switch 2 uses microSD Express cards for additional storage; check that format when choosing a card for the console. The reported discount was a past promotion, not a confirmed current price. Nintendo’s Switch 2 launch announcement describes the storage format.
Did the report announce a Switch 2 price cut?
No. MobileSyrup described two $699 CAD Switch 2 bundles—one with Mario Kart World and one with Pokémon Legends: Z-A—as already on store shelves, not new holiday bundles. It also mentioned a Nintendo Switch Sports bundle at $419 CAD. These are reported 2025 prices and availability, not confirmed 2026 offers. The report’s suggestion that shoppers should not expect a Switch 2 price cut was an inference, not an announced Nintendo policy.

Are Nintendo Black Friday 2026 offers confirmed?
Not in the available sources. As of October 8, 2026, Best Buy Canada’s Nintendo Black Friday page says its Black Friday sale returns in November 2026 and organizes Nintendo shopping under consoles, games and accessories. It does not establish specific Nintendo products, prices or participating retailers for the 2026 promotion.
Nintendo of America support says sales are often available on digital software and refurbished games or hardware, and that Nintendo does not offer coupons for retailer purchases. That general guidance for the Americas is not a Canadian Black Friday offer list. Nintendo Support’s sales and coupons guidance explains the distinction.

How to check an offer before buying
- Confirm the promotion year and sale dates; the named game prices and discounts above were reported for 2025 and have passed.
- Check the retailer’s current listing for the price, stock and regional availability rather than relying on a past announcement.
- For Switch 2 storage, verify that a card is microSD Express, not simply a microSD card.
- For bundles, compare the exact console and included game: a bundle already on sale is not necessarily a new Black Friday discount.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
